Merry Christmas!

"So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and  placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." - Matthew 2:4-7

Merry Christmas everyone! I have a card to share with you this morning that perfectly sums up the Christmas season:

This card features a free digital stamp by the talented Elena! You can find the image here! It's perfect for Christmas and I made quite a few of these cards to hand out this year. I downloaded the image and printed the images onto card stock (4 images per page) and used Lawn Fawn's "Scalloped  Rectangle Stackables" die to cut them out before mounting them to a card base. Here is a different version with a little bit less coloring (much quicker to color!) :)

This might be the image that I use for all of my Christmas cards next year! :)

I am so thankful that God sent his Son for us on Christmas morning! What an awesome example of love! I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas this year and that we all strive to keep Jesus the center of this Christmas season!

Sending You Love Tag

Hello again! I'm back again today to share a Christmas tag that I created for the current AEIHeartUChallenge!

The challenge is to use "metallics" in your project. I was looking through my paper stash, and I found some shiny paper that looks like gold! Perfect for this challenge! :)

This tag features Avery Elle's "Peonies" stamp set and "Simply Said: You" die. The tag is die cut from Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Circle Tags." I also added black ribbon to the tag, and some black enamel dots on the tag and sentiment. Here is a close up of the tag:

This will look so cute on my Christmas gifts this year!

Thanks for stopping by and have a Merry Christmas eve! :)

Birthday Balloons!

Hello! Merry Christmas Eve! I have a cute birthday card to share with you that features Sunny Studio Stamp's "Birthday Smiles" stamp set! This is one of my favorite sets, so I wanted to use those big balloons to make a colorful birthday card!

I stamped the balloons in Lawn Fawn's "Wild Rose," and "Mermaid" inks, and Hero Arts "Butter Bar" ink. I added a few small hearts around the balloons with some grey ink, and stamped the sentiment in black. The sentiment is actually a combination of two sentiments included in this set! I finished the card by adding some colorful Lawn Trimmings to the top! Here is a close up on the balloons:

They look so neat with the overlapping colors! I also used a white gel pen to add some details to the balloons!

Well, thanks for stopping by! We have our candlelight Christmas eve service at church tonight! Tomorrow we'll be traveling all over PA visiting family and friends! It's such a busy, but wonderful time of the year! :)

Lawnscaping #120 - Christmas

Hi everyone! Christmas is only a few days away! I still need to make and wrap a few gifts, but everything is ready! I can't believe Christmas is almost here!

I also can't believe that this is the last Lawnscaping Challenge of the year! The theme for this challenge is Christmas!

Here is the Christmas card that I created for this challenge:

I used a bunch of Lawn Fawn Christmas paper with the smallest "Small Stitched Square" die to cut a whole bunch of squares! Then, I arranged them on the case base to form a fun pattern. It's so Christmas-y! This card needed a big, bold sentiment to stand out against the background, so I used "Finley's ABCs" with black paper to die cut the sentiment. I also added stickles and glossy accents to the sentiment. Here is a close up to see some of the sparkle and detail!

Well, I hope that you'll be able to find some time to play along with this last challenge of the year! The winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a great day! :)

Purrfect Christmas Card

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great day so far! I'm back again to share a card feature Sunny Studio Stamp's "Santa's Helpers" stamp set and die! That kitty decorated in the Christmas lights is so cute, and he goes purrfectly with that punny sentiment! :)

I also wanted to create a fun background using the paw print stamps that are included, so I stamped the paws multiple times in red and green inks. I really like how that background turned out! Here is a close up on the kitty and background:

I finished the card by adding some Christmas colored sequins and tied a white bow on the side. It's also hard to tell from the picture, but I added glossy accents to the lights and star to give them some shine!

Well, thanks for stopping by today! I can't believe that Christmas is next week!! Ah! :)

Merry Christmas Penguins

Hello! I hope that you had a nice weekend! I have a card to share with you that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog this morning!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Toboggan Together" and "Baaah Humbug" stamps and dies, as well as Lawn Trimmings and Let's Polka petite patterned paper pack. I recently purchased the doilies and I thought it would be cute with this card. I also decided to paper piece the penguins and presents, and I also added some details to the images with a white gel pen. Here is a close up on the card:

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! And thanks to Kelly Marie for sharing this card on the Lawn Fawn blog today! :)

Skating Penguin Card

Hi everyone! Today is my daughter's birthday! Yay! Why do they have to grow up so quickly!?!

Anyways, I have a cute Christmas card to share with you this morning! This card is being shared on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog this morning!

This card features the "Snow Kissed" stamp and dies. The skating penguin is so cute! I really like the extra snowflake dies that are included in the die set, so I cut a few of those from white card stock to decorate around the image. I also added some clear stickles to the snowflakes and ice to make it look like sparkling snow! Here is a close up on the images to show the sparkles:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the card! Now it's time to go and spoil my daughter for her birthday! :)

Happy Holiday Circles

Hi everyone! I have a quick card to share with you for the current CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge! My card is based off of this current sketch:

I die cut a bunch of circles from Christmas themed patterned paper for the background and added some details to a few of the circles.

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Circle" dies, "A Birdie Told Me," "Winter Gifts" stamp sets, various patterned papers and sequins. This also features Sunny Studio Stamp's "Santa's Helpers" dies for the snowflakes. It was fun to arrange all of the different circles and add the details! I also attached a few of the circles with foam tape to add some dimension to the card. Here is a close up:

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good evening! :)

Lawnscaping #119 - Tags!

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend! We are busy getting things ready for my daughter's 2nd birthday party this weekend! I can't believe she is two already! :(

Anyways, there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge today! The challenge is to create or use a tag in your project.

I decided to make some cute, mini Christmas tags to decorate my gifts this year!

These tags feature Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Circle Tags," "Hillside Border" dies, "Toboggan Together" stamp and dies, and Freshly Cut Grass ink. I started by die cutting the tags from blue card stock. I die cut the snowy hillside from white card stock and added some clear stickles along the edge. The critters are stamped in black ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils, and the trees are stamped in the Freshly Cut grass ink. The critters and trees were die cut with the coordinating dies and attached to the tags with foam tape. I then finished the tags with some white and silver sparkly ribbon! These are all small tags, but they're so cute with the critters!

I hope that you're able to play along with the challenge this week, because the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson! Definitely a prize worth playing for!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Christmas Gift Tags

Hi everyone! Can you believe that it is already December? I need to plan a birthday party for my daughter and finish the rest of my Christmas gift shopping! December is always such a busy month! :)

I have a project to share with you that is on the Sunny Studio blog this morning! These tags are going to look so cute on Christmas gifts this year!

These tags feature Sunny Studio's "Bundled Up" and "Snow Kissed" stamp sets and dies. I also used Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Circle Tags," "Snowy Backdrops" and a few different colors of Lawn Trimmings. The tags are cut from colored card stock and stamped with the snowy backdrops. The images are all stamped and cut from white card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils. Here is a close up on the penguin to show some of the details that I added with a white gel pen:

I attached the images with foam tape, added white ribbon on the tag, and tied a bow with a coordinating colored twine. I might need to make some more of the tags for my Christmas gifts!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope that you have a great day! :)

Merry and Bright

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you're having a great Thanksgiving so far and that you're able to spend the day with family and friends! We are going to travel to Pittsburgh to spend some time with my family that I haven't seen for a while! I can't wait!

Even though it's Thanksgiving, I have a super cute Christmas card to share with you today that features the "Santa's Helpers" die set by Sunny Studio Stamps!

Some of the die sets have extra goodies that are included (bonus!!), so I used those extra dies to create this Christmas card!

I die cut the sentiment from gold glittery paper and black card stock. I attached the black card stock behind the glittery paper to give it a shadow and to help make the sentiment stand out. Here is a close up on the sentiment:

I also cut the holly leaves and berries from some green and red patterned paper, and attached those around the sentiment. I added some enamel dots, some red patterned paper, and a big green ribbon to finish off the card!

Well thanks for stopping by, and I pray that you have a safe, and relaxing Thanksgiving! :)

Avery Elle Christmas Tags

Hi everyone! This is a late post, but I wanted to quickly share some tags that I created for the Avery Elle Challenge this month!

This month's challenge is to create a holiday tag. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the Avery Elle Christmas sets, so I had to make do with the sets that I had. Here are the Christmas tags that I created:

For these tags I used Avery Elle's "Sending You" and "Peonies" stamp sets for the sentiment and to make the "holly" branches. I also used patterned paper from The Happy Collection since it was the perfect red and green for Christmas. To make the berries, I used a hole punch to get a bunch of small, red dots and attached them to the end of the leaves. It doesn't really look like a holly leaf with berries, but it's not bad. Here is a close up each of the tags:

To make the tags, I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Circle Tags and added a white tag behind the patterned paper so that I can write who it is for on the inside. I finished each of the tags off by adding either red or green ribbon to the top.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! :)

Gingerbread Family Christmas

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a nice, relaxing weekend! We were able to spend some time with family yesterday to celebrate Thanksgiving together! It is so much fun to see everyone and catch up over delicious food! :)

Anyways, I have a fun card to share with you that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Toboggan Together" stamp and dies, "Sweet Christmas" stamp and dies, "Stitched Hillside Border" dies, "Scalloped Rectangle Stackables" die, and some of their inks as well - Mermaid, Fish Tank, and Freshly Cut Grass. I started with a white card base, and inked the edges with the Mermaid ink. I really like how it adds a hint of color around the edge for the sky. Then, I cut out two hills from white card stock and added some frosted lace stickles to the edge. The trees are stamped in the Freshly Cut Grass ink, die cut, and attached with glue. I wanted the gingerbread family to look like gingerbread, so I die cut them from kraft card stock, and added the details with a white gel pen. The family is attached with foam tape, and then the sentiment is stamped in the Fish Tank blue ink.

To make the frame, I die cut a piece of glittery paper with the scalloped rectangle die. If you have the regular rectangle dies, you can die cut that in the middle to make the frame. If you don't have the regular rectangle dies, then determine how much you want to cut from the inside, and use an X-acto knife and ruler to cut out the inside.

Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you Kelly Marie for sharing this card on the LF blog this morning! Have a great week! :)

Fawny Holiday Week

Hi everyone! I hope that you have had a good week! Today is my husband's birthday, so we're going to enjoy some family time this evening with cake and ice cream! Yummy!

I have a card to share with you this morning as part of the Fawny Holiday Week on the Lawn Fawn blog

Elf is such a fun Christmas movie, so I decided to use a famous line from the movie as inspiration for my Christmas card!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Riley's ABCs," "Quinn's ABCs," "Toboggan Together," "Baaah Humbug" stamp set and die, and "Trim the Tree" stamp set and die. I tried to stick with red, green, and light brown for all of the images to keep this card full of Christmas cheer! And all of the small images around the sentiment are attached with foam tape. I also added some darker lines of red and green in the "cheer" for some extra detail. Here is a close up:

Thanks for stopping by! And don't forget to check out the rest of the Christmas inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! :)

The images are all stamped onto white card stock and colored with prismacolor pencils. I then attached all of the images with foam tape to help them stand out against the white background. That turkey looks like he is going to enjoy that pie! :)

I finished the card by adding a few clear sequins around the images.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the other cards from the design team this week that feature the Harvest Happiness set on the Sunny Studio blog!

Lawnscaping #118 - In With the Old

Good morning! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This weeks challenge is about using a product that hasn't been used for a while. I decided to use Lawn Fawn's "Hello Sunshine" and "Good Fortune" stamp sets.

I kept this card very clean and simple, and stamped everything onto the card base. I also used Fish Tank, Mermaid, and Wild Rose ink pads. After I stamped the clouds, I added a few dots along the edge for some details.

I hope that you're able to play along because the winner will receive a free stamp set from Lawn Fawn!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a great week! :)

Punny Sheep Christmas Cards

*This is my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Lawnscaping post, scroll down or click here.

Hello again everyone! I am super excited to be able to share some cute Christmas cards on the Lawn Fawn blog today!!

These cards all feature the "Baaah Humbug" and "Flirty Frames" stamp set and dies. This first card is my favorite one of the set. That bow is so cute, and that sentiment is perfect for Christmas cards! The sheep and frames are all colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also added some white details to the little images and the frames.

The sheep on the green card is so cute holding that little present!

The blue cards sheep needed a scarf to keep him warm this winter!

I really like this purple for an unexpected Christmas card color!

The sheep are all so cute and I really like how they can hold a bunch of different images. You can even add images from different stamp sets (the heart from the first sheep card came from a different set).

Thanks for stopping by to check out these Christmas cards, and thank you Kelly Marie for sharing these cards on the Lawn Fawn blog today! Have a great day! :)
