LF Inspiration Week: Scripty Mine and Valentine Borders

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay in sharing my card with you for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week. My 8 month old and I are trying to get over a cold, and he is teething and has an ear infection - poor kid! Hopefully we'll all be feeling better by Christmas! :)

My card today features the new Scripty Mine and Valentine Borders! The Scripty Mine goes perfectly with the Scripty Be, and I had to include the birdies from the new Love Letters sets because they're just too cute!

For the border, I used Copic markers to draw three straight lines, and then die cut the arrows over the lines. It helps the arrows to stand out and it adds some fun color to the card. I think it's so cute, too, that the Scripty Mine has a heart over the letter "i."

Don't forget to check out the other amazing creations from the design team on the Lawn Fawn blog! And all of the new products will be available tomorrow, yay!! :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Octopi My Heart and Fancy Scalloped Circles

Hi again everyone! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Octopi My Heart stamp set and the Fancy Scalloped Circle and Rectangle dies!

The octopus in the mini set is so cute! And I always giggle when I read that sentiment! I used the bow that is included in the set to make a boy and girl octopus holding "hands," aww.

I used Lawn Fawn's Mermaid and Fish Tank inks for the background, and then stamped some bubbles around the octopus. I had to go over the bubbles in a few places with a white gel pen to help them stand out against the background.

I also used the new Fancy Scalloped Circle die cut from gold glitter cardstock as the base for this card. I have a feeling that the new scalloped dies are going to become one of my go-to dies!

Thanks for stopping by and check out the Lawn Fawn blog for some more inspiration! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Love Letters and Happy Mail

Hi everyone! Did you have a nice weekend? We celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday on Saturday with a donut themed birthday party! I can't believe she is 3 already, and I also can't believe that Christmas is only 12 days away! I should hurry up and finish my Christmas gifts shopping, haha!

I also can't believe that it's time for the next Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The design team is sharing projects that feature the new Valentine's Day products that will be released this Thursday, December 15th.

For my first card today, I used the new Happy Mail die. The set makes an adorable mailbox and envelopes! I die cut the envelopes in various pink, black, and white patterned papers to create this card:

Each of the envelopes open to reveal hidden messages!

The sentiments are all from the new Love Letters stamp set!

For my second card, I used the new Love Letters stamp set and dies to create a three card set. I also used the new Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies (definitely one of my new favorite dies!)

Those little birdies are so cute, and I really like that you can stamp different sentiments onto the letter and envelope!

Fawny Holiday Week

Hi everyone! This week the Lawn Fawn design team, the Lawnscaping team, and members from the Lawn Fawn Head Quarters are sharing some Christmas and Holiday ideas with you!

I made two mini Christmas cards that feature a big, bold sentiment!

These cards 3" x 4.25" and they would be great to include with cookies or other small gifts for the neighbors! These cards feature the Dotted Rectangle dies, Cheery Christmas for the squirrels and sentiment, Winter Big Scripty Words, Riley's ABCs, Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper, and Baaah Humbug for the presents. I really like how the scripty sentiment fits across the dotted rectangle die.

25 Days of Christmas Tags Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn design team is joining our friend Tracey in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!

For my tags, I used the Tag, You're It die (my favorite die for making tags) cut from white cardstock and colored the border with red and green Copics markers. I also used the Put A Bow On It tags cut from patterned paper. The sentiment is from the Merry Messages set, and I also added some red and green Lawn Trimmings.

To make the framed sentiment, I used the Flirty Frames die to cut two frames - one from white cardstock and one from patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment onto the white cardstock. Then, I used an x-acto knife to cut out the inside on the patterned paper frame. I adhered them together to make a cute frame for the sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to check out Tracy's blog for more information and for some fun giveaways! Have a great day! :)

Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics Week

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a great weekend! Can you believe that it is November already!? Christmas will be here before we know it!

This week, the Lawn Fawn design team is collaborating with Chibitronics, an awesome company that makes "circuit stickers" to light up your paper projects! So cool! Here is the card that I created:

It looks like a normal card, but then press the heart and BAM! It lights up!

I added the circuit and lights to a piece of paper behind my background to make it look like stars in the sky! This card is so pretty in person and it might be one of my favorite cards ever. For this card, I used "Clark's ABCs," "Little Town Border" die, "Snowy Backdrop" and a few Lawn Fawn inks - Wild Rose, Mermaid, Merman, and Fish Tank.

I had so much fun making a light up card, that I decided to make two! :)

This time, if you press the back of the car, the head light lights up!

For this card, I used "Home for the Holidays" and "Stitched Hillside Border" dies.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog today through Wednesday to see some more projects featuring the Chibironic lights! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Little Town Border

Hi everyone! It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn October inspiration week!

Today, I have a card to share with you that features the Little Town Border die! For this card, I used some blue and purple inks to create a blended background, and then stamped the falling snow from the Snowy Backdrops set in Yeti Ink. I went over a few stars with a white gel pen to make them stand out a little bit more.

The town border was die cut from a piece of white cardstock and attached to the background. The sentiment is stamped in the Narwhal ink. I finished the card by adding a twine bow and adhering a snowflake sequin to the bow. Here is a close up on the scene:

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Merry Messages and Plan On It: Holidays

Hello again! I'm back today to share another Lawn Fawn inspiration week card that features the Merry Messages and Plan On It: Holidays stamp sets!

I used my mini MISTI tool and some grey, green, and red inks to create a mini Christmas card!

The sentiment and trees are stamped onto white cardstock that is cut from the Dotted Rectangle dies and adhered to a white card base.

I added a little bit of shading to the Christmas trees to give them some details along the left edge. Since these were so quick and easy to create, I made a bunch of mini cards at one time!

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out the other awesome cards and projects from the Lawn Fawn design team! Have a great day! :)

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Perfectly Plaid Winter

Good morning! I am so excited to be sharing another card with you today for the Lawn Fawn inspiration week!

Today, we are featuring the Perfectly Plaid Winter patterned paper. The blues and grays in the patterns are perfect to use for snowy, Christmas scenes.

I really like Audrey's card with the Leafy Tree Backdrop on each side of the scene, so I used that idea to create a snowy, winter scene. I used the Perfectly Plaid Winter paper as a frame around the scene (cut from the Dotted Rectangle dies) and as the sky. The critters are from the Cheery Christmas and Jump for Joy sets, and the larger hats are from the Baaah Humbug set. I also stamped part of a sentiment from the Merry Message set so that it would fit between in the background.

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a good weekend so far! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is featuring the new Scripty dies!

For this card, I used the Scripty Merry and Scripty Wishes as the sentiment for this scene featuring images from the Cheery Christmas set.

I also used the Dotted Circle Stackables to create a frame for the scene, Perfectly Plaid Winter patterned paper for the background, and Storm Cloud cardstock for the sentiment. Here is a close up on the scene:

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Tiny Tags

Happy Saturday! The Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues, and today we are showcasing the Tiny Tags and Tiny Tags Sayings

This set is so cute for adding tags on gifts, bags, and boxes, but you can also use them to make cards! For this card, I die cut the tiny tag from craft foam to make it into a stamp!

I used the craft foam and stamped the tags in various Lawn Fawn inks including, Fresh Lavender, Wild Rose, Freshly Cut Grass, Mermaid, Fish Tank, and Sugarplum. The silver sparkle Lawn Trimming is attached with glue dots, and I finished by adding a few gold enamel dots. This is so colorful and fun, and would be perfect to include with a birthday or thank you gift!

Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for some more inspiration from the design team! They made some adorable projects! :)

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Winter Unicorn

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week so far! It is definitely starting to feel like fall here! The leaves are changing colors, there are pumpkins on every porch, and the weather is getting cooler! Yay - fall is my favorite! :)

Also, the Lawn Fawn inspiration week starts today - yay!

Today, we are focusing on the Winter Unicorn and the Winter Big Scripty Words. The unicorn set is so cute, and it goes really well with this sentiment from the Merry Messages set!

I started by stamping the unicorn and Santa hat (from Toboggan Together) and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut the background panel and the clouds from the Dotted Rectangle dies and Puffy Cloud Borders, and inked the bottom portion with Mermaid Ink. The sentiment is cut from Mermaid card stock with the Everyday Banner dies, and the sentiment is stamped in Yeti Ink. Everything is attached with foam tape, and I added some stickles and sequins for some extra details. I also used the small heart included in the set to stamp on the unicorn.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration from the design team and also enter for a chance to win this set! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

Birthday Puppies!

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn design team is partnering with the Scrapbook Adhesive team to provide some awesome inspiration this week!

For this card, I used the E-Z Micro Runner to attach the presents and bones, and 3D Foam Squares to attached the dogs and background panel to the card. I also used the 3D Foam Creative Sheets to make the sentiment! I die cut the foam from Lawn Fawn's Big Scripty Words Dies, attached the foam to the card panel, and then added green glitter on top. It is so neat that you can make custom foam stickers from the 3D Foam sheets and Lawn Cuts!

The dogs are from the Happy Howloween and Happy Howlidays stamp sets and have birthday hats from the Hats Off to You set. The white cardstock was cut from the Dotted Rectangle dies and attached to a piece of Perfectly Plaid Christmas patterned paper cut from the Scalloped Rectangle dies. To create the background, I used the Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass to ink the grass and sky.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Small Stitched Envelope

Hi everyone! It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and today we are showcasing the Small Stitched Envelope die!

This die is perfect for Christmas and birthdays because it fits a gift card inside perfectly!

I die cut the envelope from some Perfectly Plaid Christmas patterned paper, and added the frame cut from white card stock. The puppy and his accessories are from the Simon Says Stamp exclusive set, Happy Howlidays, but the puppy from the Happy Howloween set is would be perfect for this envelope, too!

The sentiment is from the new Winter Big Scripty Words die cut from Black Licorice card stock. I really like how the sentiment fits perfectly across the envelope!
