Lawn Fawn & Glue Dots Week

Hi everyone! Lawn Fawn is teaming up with Glue Dots this week to bring you lots of fun inspiration!

The card that I am sharing today features the new Toadally Awesome set, which will be available late February. I also used the new Speech Bubble die which is so much fun to use for the sentiment!

I used a few different Glue Dot products for this card. I added the lily pads and the large flower with the Ultra Thin Glue Dots. The smaller items, like the grass, cattails, and the small flower, were attached with the Mini Glue Dots. The mini glue dots were also the perfect size to use on the twine so that the bow doesn't move. The frogs and the speech bubble are attached with the Pop-Up Glue Dots to help them stand out on the card.

I hope you like the card! Stop by the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration this week! Thanks and have a great day! :)

Concord and 9th Challenge #17

Hi everyone! I hope that you're all having a good weekend so far! We enjoyed a productive morning at home and then a birthday party in the afternoon. And tomorrow, my husband and I are going to laser tag with the youth group from our church! My husband and I are probably going to lose (haha!), but we're looking forward to the event!

I'm so excited to be participating in this month's Concord and 9th's Challenge - to use your first C9 set. They have so many cute sets, so I purchased two sets for myself over Christmas. And I imagine that I'll get more in the future... :)

My first card features the Brushed Blossom set. I stamped the flowers in distress oxides onto a white cardstock panel. I used Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover, Abandoned Coral, and Worn Lipstick distress oxides.

The sentiment is stamped in black ink and I added a few "ink splatters" with Lawn Fawn's Manatee ink. The splatters add such a fun detail to the background!

My second card also features the Brushed Blossom set stamped in a rainbow of colors! I used a ton of Lawn Fawn inks - Peachy Keen, Wild Rose, Peach Fuzz, Carrot, Sunflower, Lemonade, Minty Fresh, Freshly Cut Grass, Mermaid, Fish Tank, Fresh Lavender, and Grape Soda.

The sentiment is stamped in black Memento ink, and I also die cut the rainbow panel from Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. I finished the card by adding "ink splatters" in Manatee ink and I also added a few clear sequins around the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend! :)

LF Sneak Week - Some Bunny and Stitched Garden Border

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week so far!

I have another card to share with you today that features the Stitched Garden Border die, which makes garden scenes so easy to create! The die includes the vegetables and also cuts the hillside and dirt mounds so that you can slide the vegetables into the dirt.

I also used the new Little Flowers dies and the Some Bunny stamp set, along with the Bannertastic set. This scene also uses a variety of Lawn Fawn cardstock, including the Paper Bag Cardstock for the ground.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more sneak peeks of the new products! Which one (or ones) is your favorite?

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day! :)

LF Sneak Week - Peekaboo Backdrop

Good morning! I hope that you're enjoying the sneak peeks on the Lawn Fawn blog this week. Which products are your favorite so far?

I have a card to share with you today that features the new Peekaboo Backdrop die. This die creates an awesome border to help create comic book style scenes, and it also includes some fun, interactive elements!

I used the Peekaboo Backdrop along with the Hay There stamp set to create this fun card! The background is created with Distress Oxide inks - Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Fossilized Amber, and Twisted Citron. The critters are colored with Copic markers. They look so cute with their googly eyes!

This card also features the new Speech Bubble die with the sentiment stamped in Riley's ABCs. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the inside of the card, but it says "It's your special day! Happy Birthday."

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Sneak Week - Happy Village and Hay There

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend! We went from really nice weather on Friday (the kids and I went for a walk in sweatshirts!) to ice and snow on Saturday. Not cool, January!

This week, Lawn Fawn will be sharing sneak peeks at the new products that will be showcased at Creativation! The new products will be available in February!

There are so many cute stamp sets that are being shared on the Lawn Fawn blog, and I have two cards to share with you today! The first card features the new Happy Village set, which is a spring version of the Winter Village set.

I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop cut from white cardstock to create the scene. The hillside is ink blended with Freshly Cut Grass and the sky is inked with Mermaid ink. The houses and trees are all colored with Copic markers and attached with foam tape. I really like the little speech bubbles that are included in this set, as well as those moving boxes!

My second card features the Hay There stamp and die set. Those farm critters are so cute! The animals are all stamped in black ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also used a sentiment from the new Simple Sentiments stamp set.

The blue patterned paper is from the new Gotta Have Gingham collection, which is one of my new favorite paper collections. Here is a close up on the card:

There are so many cute samples on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check them out! And I'll have more cards to share with you throughout the week!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! :)
