Advent Calendar

Hello! I'm back with an awesome project that I made over the weekend. I saw this project in a Paper Craft Seasonal Decor booklet and I had to make it (there are tons of other projects, too, so check it out here).

Using a dry erase board, magnetic strips, some hot glue, and my Cricut with the "Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More" cartridge I made this:

Then, by adding some glittery numbers and some Christmas stickers and embellishments, I ended up with this:

Now I have to finish filling out the little inserts to put in the tags. I have most of them filled out, but I need to do a few more. Anyways, here are some of my favorite tags:

Thanks for stopping by and looking! I hope that everyone has a good Thanksgiving, enjoy some time with family, and don't eat too much turkey! :)

P.S. Check out the challenge at the Ribbon Girl Blog!
You could win a ton of Christmas ribbon! :)

Color Inspiration Challenge #8

Hello again! I have one more card to share with you today. I made this for the Paper Crafts Color Inspiration Challenge #8. This is my first ever color challenge! The colors that had to be used were blue, green, white, and black. Well, here it is:

Thanks for looking!

The Vertical Sketch #2

Hello everyone! I hope that you enjoyed your Labor Day weekend! My husband and I didn't go anywhere this year, but we still had a nice, relaxing time at home. Earlier in the weekend, I found a fun cross-stitch rooster project hidden in my desk, so I've had a lot of time to work on that!

Anyways, here is another card that I made for the Vertical Sketch Challenge at the Moxie Fab World.

I like this one better than the first one. I was able to use some new Halloween paper that I recently bought, and I also used some buttons, which is usually not my style. But, it was a lot of fun! Thanks for stopping by!

The Vertical Sketch #1

Good afternoon! I hope that you are enjoying your nice, long Labor Day weekend! Unfortunately, I had to work this morning, but thankfully Monday is a holiday!

Here is a card that I made for The Vertical Sketch Challenge over at the Moxie Fab World. This sketch was so fun to work with because banners are so fun! It also gave me a reason to use those cute chipboard letters that I recently bought!

That's all for today. Enjoy your weekend!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #87

Hello! Here is a card that I made for my first Cricut Cardz Challenge. The challenge was to make a thank you card using hearts from any cartridge, but they couldn't be red or pink. So, I used some scrap paper and my Create-a-Critter cartridge to make this:

I really like it and I'm excited to send it to a friend some day! Well, hope you had a good day. It's almost the weekend!!

Cupcake Card

Good morning! Today I have a birthday card to share that I made using the Lawn Fawn Bake Me a Cake stamp set. It is definitely one of my favorite stamp sets because there is so much that you can do with it! For this card, I made cupcakes!

Here is a close up on the cupcakes:

This card and layout were so fun and easy to make.
Thanks for looking! Enjoy your week!

60th Wedding Anniversary!

Hello! Today is my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary!! They definitely deserved a card because that is such a long time (don't worry - they're also getting a big party later this month). Here is the card that I made for them.

This was a lot of fun to make because I made the patterned paper by using strips of scrap paper. I've had those scraps forever and have been waiting for the right time to use them. I have also been looking for an opportunity to use my black ribbon. I usually stick to white ribbon, but the black looks better for this card.

This is a close up on the numbers. I cut the numbers out of the pattern paper and just let the white show through. I like it!

Well, thanks for stopping by! The weekend is almost here! Hurray!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge CFC13

Hello again! Wow, it has been a while since my last post. Hopefully I will get better with that! Anyways, here is a card that I made for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

The challenge was to make a 4 x 9 sized card. Boy, that was tough, but it was a lot of fun to make especially with the fun cloud paper and my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp! Well, thanks for looking! :)

Love Card

Hello card world! Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog!

The first card I want to share with you is an anniversary card. I used my Circut for the frame and hearts, and then stamped and cut out letters to spell 'Love.'
I attached everything with foam tape.

I love foam tape!

Well, that's all for today! Thanks again for visiting and have a good week! :)
