You and Me

Hello everyone! I feel bad that I haven't been able to share projects with you lately, but life has been a little bit stressful recently. Work has been really rough for the past few weeks, but things should be getting better soon!

I have a card to share with you today that I made for a Paper Crafts submission that did not get picked up. For this card, I stamped the sentiment twice to give it some dimension!

Here is a close up on the sentiment. I stamped the top image first and then cut out masks of the letters so that I could stamp the back layer. I connected some of the points and colored the letters with a gray colored pencil.

For this card I used Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs," "Blue Skies," and "A Birdie Told Me." The washi tape is from Freckled Fawn and the patterned paper is from Basic Grey. What do you think?

Do you have anything fun planned for the long weekend? We have some cleaning to do today, a picnic to go to tomorrow, and a baseball game to watch on Monday! It should be a fun-filled weekend! :)

Lawnscaping #64 - Distress Maniacs

Hi everyone! I hope that your weekend went well! Did you get to do anything fun? We had some friends visit this weekend and we had a great time catching up with them and playing with their adorable kids! It was great! We also found some time to visit a local craft fair! We had a wonderful weekend! :)

It's time again for another Lawnscaping Challenge! Woo! This challenge is to use distress products or techniques for your project!

For my card, I colored some cute Lawn Fawn images with distress markers, as well as distressing the edges of the paper by tearing the pieces instead of cutting straight lines. Here is the card that I created:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Silly Valentine," "Hats Off to You," and "Blue Skies" stamp sets, as well as grapefruit pink alphabet stickers. The background and ruler paper are from a Recollections paper pack.

I hope that you get the chance to play along with the challenge this week! The winner will receive a free stamp set courtesy of Lawn Fawn!! :)

Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you have a great Monday!!

Lawn Fawn Love!

Hi everyone! I hope that your week is going well! I'm so excited because today one of my cards is featured on the Lawn Fawn blog!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm" and "Year Two" stamp sets. This was one of my first Lawn Fawn sets and it's still one of my favorites. The cute critters make me smile every time! The images and the grass are cut from white or patterned paper and are attached with foam tape to create some dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day! :)

Thanks!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend. Did you get to do anything fun? We were able to spend some time on my in-law's boat yesterday! It was a beautiful day and it was fun to hang out with the family for the day!

I have a quick card to share with you today! And it's another one layer card!

This card features various stamp sets from Lawn Fawn including "Quinn's ABCs," "A Birdie Told Me," "Happy Everything," "Good Fortune," and "Plus One." I stamped all of the images in black, colored them with some markers, and added Stickles to the letters, hearts, and stars.

This card also fits perfectly with the current Lawnscaping Challenge! There are still a few days left to play along! :)

Lawnscaping #63 - One Layer

Good morning, everyone! I hope that you had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend! It's time again for another Lawnscaping Challenge!!

The challenge this week is to create a one layer card. I have such a hard time creating one layer cards because I'm a fan of paper piecing and using foam tape, so this was rough! But, here is the card that I created:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Blue Skies" stamp set. I stamped the images onto the card base and used a little bit of masking on the balloon and clouds. Then I colored the images with some Martha Stewart markers and added Stickles to give it some excitement. I tried to do a little bit of blending with the hot air balloon colors. I'm horrible at coloring!

I hope that you can play along with the Lawnscaping Challenge this week! The winner will receive a $25 give certificate from Simon Says Stamp! Awesome! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that you have a nice week! :)
