Lawnscaping Challenge #36

Hello again! I have another card to share with you for the Lawnscaping Challenge - splash of color!

Again, I made this card a while ago, but I haven't had much time. VBS ended tonight and we had a record number of children attend! It was great that we were able to share the gospel with so many children and their families in our neighborhood! Anyways, on with the card!

I used Lawn Fawn's "My Cup of Tea" stamp set! It is such a cute little set! I paper pieced the cup, tea bag, and the hearts and I colored the hearts red to add a splash of color! I hope you like it! Thanks for looking! :)

Hello Baby!

Hello everyone! I hope that you had a good Monday. My husband is done with school for the summer and he stayed home while I went to work today - boo! I will make up for that by giving him a Honey Do list for the summer! :)

Anyways, I have a card to share with you for this week's Lawnscaping Challenge.

The clouds and stork bag are paper pieced from patterned paper. I really wanted to use the clouds from Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" set because it is one of my new sets. I like new stamps! Here is a close up of the card:

Thanks for looking at my cards! I hope the rest of your week goes well! :)

Lawnscaping Challenge #35

Good evening! I have a new card to share with you today! I made this for the latest Lawnscaping Challenge - patterned paper! I don't use a lot of patterned paper, so this was a challenge, but I had a lot of fun. :)

Here is my card!

Here is a close up of the critters!

The background, fish, octopus, and hat are all cut out from different patterned papers. I had to make the one fish face the other way, but it was really easy! I inked the small fish, wiped off his smile and stamped him on paper. Then I took a small black marker and drew on a new smile so that he faced the other way!

On a personal note, I would really appreciate it if you could keep my father-in-law in your prayers as he is having a lung biopsy done tomorrow afternoon. Pray that everything goes well, he has a speedy recovery, and that we get some good news!

Thanks for stopping by! :)
