Friend Card!

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone's week is going well so far. I had today off, so my week hasn't been too bad yet. We'll see what happens at work tomorrow though!

Anyways, here is a card that I made this week! I made this card for two difference challenges. The first is for this week's CASE Study Challenge, which was to make a card in your signature style. My style is definitely clean and simple with a dash of fun and cute on the side! I also made this card for the CAS-ual Friday Challenge, which was to use stickers in your card. Everything (except the ribbon) is a sticker. So here's the card:

Well, I hope that you enjoy it! Have a wonderful rest of the week! I'm looking forward to this long weekend!! :)

CASE Study Challenge #53

Well, hello again! I was doing so well for a while with my postings, but I let last week slip by. But that's ok. I'll get better.

Anyways, here is a card that I made for this weeks CASE Study Challenge. The challenge was to make a card inspired by one of the designers. So, here is my card!

It's hard to see in the picture, but I added some stamped flowers to the blue card stock, just to make it more interesting.

Well, that's all for today! I now have to go to work (boo), but after work is the Altoona Curve two-for-one, double header night, which will be tons of fun! :) Have a great day!

CASE Study Challenge #52

Well, here is my card for this weeks CASE Study Challenge. The challenge was to create a card based on inspiration from a card in the CASE Study gallery. I didn't go very far to look because my inspiration came from Clare Buswell's card (which happened to be right at the beginning of the post). I loved the colors that Clare used and I thought they would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary card (hmm... similar to another card I made recently!). And, of course, it gave me another reason to use black ribbon.

Sorry for the picture quality. I'm trying to find a better spot and lighting to use for the pictures.

Here is a close up of my card that turned out better than the first picture. Thanks again for looking and have a wonderful weekend!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #87

Hello! Here is a card that I made for my first Cricut Cardz Challenge. The challenge was to make a thank you card using hearts from any cartridge, but they couldn't be red or pink. So, I used some scrap paper and my Create-a-Critter cartridge to make this:

I really like it and I'm excited to send it to a friend some day! Well, hope you had a good day. It's almost the weekend!!

Cupcake Card

Good morning! Today I have a birthday card to share that I made using the Lawn Fawn Bake Me a Cake stamp set. It is definitely one of my favorite stamp sets because there is so much that you can do with it! For this card, I made cupcakes!

Here is a close up on the cupcakes:

This card and layout were so fun and easy to make.
Thanks for looking! Enjoy your week!

60th Wedding Anniversary!

Hello! Today is my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary!! They definitely deserved a card because that is such a long time (don't worry - they're also getting a big party later this month). Here is the card that I made for them.

This was a lot of fun to make because I made the patterned paper by using strips of scrap paper. I've had those scraps forever and have been waiting for the right time to use them. I have also been looking for an opportunity to use my black ribbon. I usually stick to white ribbon, but the black looks better for this card.

This is a close up on the numbers. I cut the numbers out of the pattern paper and just let the white show through. I like it!

Well, thanks for stopping by! The weekend is almost here! Hurray!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge CFC13

Hello again! Wow, it has been a while since my last post. Hopefully I will get better with that! Anyways, here is a card that I made for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

The challenge was to make a 4 x 9 sized card. Boy, that was tough, but it was a lot of fun to make especially with the fun cloud paper and my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp! Well, thanks for looking! :)
