Merry Christmas!

"So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and  placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." - Matthew 2:4-7

Merry Christmas! I am back to share with you the last card in this year's 25 Days of Christmas! This card is to help remind us about the real reason for Christmas:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs" and "Riley's ABCs." To make the upper case J, I just used the lower case J without the dot on top! The letters are colored with Prismacolor pencils and coated with stickles.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. I am so thankful that God gave us the greatest gift of all, His Son! Merry Christmas! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 23 and 24

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas eve!! I realized late last night that I forgot to share a Christmas card with you yesterday! There are so many things that I'm trying to get done before Christmas that I completely forgot! I'm sorry!

To make up for it, I'm sharing two Christmas cards with you today! :)

This first card features Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs" and "Winter Gifts." I wanted to make something that was simple and to the point. The letters and images are colored with Prismacolor pencils!

This next card features Lawn Fawn's "Spruce" notecards and Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas" stamp and die. Again, simple and to the point!

Well, thanks for stopping by! Do you have any fun Christmas Eve traditions to do today? We always go to the candlelight Christmas Eve service at our church, and then we'll come home to drink some hot chocolate and read a few Christmas stories before bed. I can't wait! Have a nice day! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 22

Hi everyone! Only a few days left until Christmas! Yay! :)

I have another card to share with you today that you may have already seen. This card was on the Lawn Fawn blog earlier in November, but it's just too "sweet" to not share again! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Sweet Christmas" and "Milk and Cookies" stamp sets, as well as "Finley's ABCs" dies. Highlighting the sentiment with little images is such a cute way to make the sentiment shine! (And literally shine if you use glitter paper!!)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a good Monday! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 21

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this card with you this morning. This represents the true meaning of Christmas!

This card features Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas" stamp set and Lawn Fawn's "Milo's ABCs" and "Violet's ABCs" stamp sets. I used a few different blue inks to make the background, and then stamped the images and sentiment in black ink. It made for a perfect one layer card which is great for mailing!

Well, I hope that you have a good day! I'll be back with another card tomorrow! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 20

Happy Saturday everyone! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? I know we will probably be making sugar cookies, but I'm not sure what we'll do after that. Whatever it is, it will be fun! :)

I don't have a card to share with you, but I did want to share some Christmas tags from this year and last year.

These tags were on my blog just recently! They feature Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas" stamp set and die.

These tags were on my blog at the beginning of December and they are some of my favorite tags ever! They feature Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm" and "Winter Gifts," stamp sets, and "Tag, You're It" and "Cole's ABCs" dies. I also used some Lawn Trimmings!

These tags were from last year, but I still think they're so cute! They feature a ton of different Lawn Fawn products like "Cozy Christmas," "Making Frosty Friends" and "Milo's ABCs" stamp sets, as well as some sequins and Lawn Trimmings. Christmas tags are such a fun way to dress up gifts!

Well, thanks for stopping by for some Christmas Tags! I hope that you have a good weekend! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 19

Hello again everyone! I hope that you enjoyed the Christmas card set that I shared over the past few days. I am super excited to share this card with you today - it's one of my favorites from this year!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Finley's ABCs" die cuts, silver sparkle Lawn Trimmings, and stars from "Blue Skies" stamp set. For this card, I first die cut the sentiment from white card stock. Once I knew where the letters were going to be on the card base, I used inks to make a fun pink and purple background. Then, I stamped, colored, and cut the stars and attached them with foam tape. I colored the stars with the same colors that were used in the background! Here is a close up:

Thanks so much for stopping by! Can you believe that Christmas is less than a week away?! I only need to get one more Christmas present so I'm almost done! Enjoy your Friday! :)

This card features Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas" stamp set and die. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and attached with foam tape. I also used some yellow and pink washi tapes to ground the image on the card base. I really like these image from Paper Smooches - they're perfect for Christmas! Here are all three of the cards:

Well, thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day and stop back again tomorrow for another Christmas card! :)

Lawnscaping #96 - Merry Christmas!

Good morning! Did you have a nice weekend? My daughter's birthday party was this weekend and it was so much fun! We let her smash and eat a cupcake and it was adorable to watch! Now I just need to focus and try to finish up my Christmas shopping!

And since Christmas is just around the corner, it is the perfect time for the new Lawnscaping Challenge which is all about Christmas!

Here is the Christmas card that I made for the current challenge:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Riley's ABCs" and "Winter Gifts" stamp sets, as well as "Finley's ABCs" die cuts. I die cut the letters from two different red and green card stock and alternated the colors on the card. I decided to add a coat of glossy accents on the letters to make them stand out a little bit. Then, I stamped "sending you" above the letters and embellished it with some holly leaves and hearts. Here is a close up of the letters.

Well, thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to play along because the winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice to Lawn Fawn (and they just released some adorable Valentine's Day sets!) :)

Have a nice day! Don't forget to stop back again tomorrow for another 25 Days of Christmas Cards!

25 Days of Christmas Day 14

Good morning! I told you I would post the card earlier than I did yesterday! :)

I'm excited to share a cute snowman scene with you today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Making Frosty Friends," "Winter Gifts," and "Sweet Christmas" stamp sets, as well as the "Stitched Hillside Border" dies. I cut a few hills out of white card stock and added stickles along the top edge. Then I stamped the images and colored all of them with Prismacolor pencils. For the trees in the background, I used a white paint pen to add some snow along the branches. I rarely use colored card stock for my card base, but I really like it with the light blue! I also just remembered that I had intended to add some birdie foot prints behind the bird on the left! Next time! :)

Thanks again for stopping by! Check back tomorrow for a new card! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 13

Hi everyone! I know, it's getting late, but I didn't forget! My daughter's birthday party was today and I have been running around all day getting things ready, enjoying time with family and friends, and then relaxing! But, I still make it before the day was over! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Snow Day" petite paper pack for the background and sentiment tag, gold sparkle Lawn Trimmings, and "Winter Gifts" stamp set. The holly images and hearts are colored with Prismacolor pencils and attached with foam tape. You can make some very quick and easy cards using the little tags that come in the petite paper packs! :)

Well, thanks for checking in! I'll make sure that I don't post tomorrow's card late! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 12

Good morning! I told you yesterday that I would have another moose card to share with you, and here it is! :)

Hehe! That sentiment just makes me laugh every time! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters in the Arctic," "Hats Off to You," "Riley's ABCs," "Stitched Hillside Border" dies, and Cloudy Lawn Trimmings. I started by masking off a square in the middle of the card and used inks to create the background. I added some snowflakes with white ink and also die cut a snowy hill. The moose and hat are colored with markers and attached with foam tape. Then, I stamped the sentiment below the scene and added the twine along the top.

Thanks for stopping by! Now I need to hurry and get things ready and organized for my daughter's birthday party tomorrow! Ah! Have a nice day! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 11

Hello! I am back to share another Christmas card with you! This card was shared a while ago on the Lawn Fawn blog, but I think it's just too cute to not share again! :)

This is my favorite card this Christmas! This card features a ton of Lawn Fawn products - patterned paper from "Snow Day," "Stitched Hillside Border" die, "Violet's ABCs," "Critters in the Arctic," and "Hats Off to You" stamp sets, and Sky Lawn Trimmings. That moose is just the cutest!!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow and see how I used this Christmas moose for a different card! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 10!

Ah, I can't believe that it is December 10th!! Today is my daughters one year birthday! Where did this year go?! We have prayed and waiting for a child for so long and I thank God every day that she is here!

December 10th is also a special day to my husband and I because it is the day that we started dating and the day that we got engaged! Ever since we started dating, we have always watched the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" every year on December 10th (except for last year because we were in the hospital!). So, I think it is the perfect day to share this card with you!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Cole's ABCs' dies, "Winter Sparrow" stamp set, and "Snow Day" patterned paper. I die cut the sentiment from a piece of white card stock and made sure to keep the centers of the a, o, d, and r (I almost lost the "a" piece at one point!). Then I adhered the white card stock to the patterned paper and added the middle pieces of the letters. Then, I stamped, colored, die cut, and used foam tape to adhere the sparrows to the card. I finished by adding a few music notes.

Well, thanks for stopping by! I am going to enjoy this "wonderful" day with my husband and daughter! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 9

Hi everyone!

It is starting to get really cold here! The weather forecast is calling for sleet and freezing rain today - yuck! I don't mind the snow because it looks pretty from inside my house, but freezing rain is dangerous!

In light of the weather here, I think today's card is very appropriate!

Let it snow and don't let it sleet! :) This card features Lawn Fawn's "Snow Day" petite paper pack, silver sparkle Lawn Trimmings, Lawn Ornament sequins, "Finley's ABCs" die cuts, and "Critters in the Arctic." The scene on the patterned paper is so cute and it is the perfect background for this sentiment!

Well, thanks for stopping by today! Check back again tomorrow for another Christmas card! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 8

Welcome back to another 25 Days of Christmas cards! I hope that you are enjoying the cards so far because we have 17 days left until Christmas! :)

Just like yesterdays card, this one is also very clean and simple. I wanted the image to be the focal point for this card:

This card features Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas" and Lawn Fawn's gold sparkle Lawn Trimmings. The image was stamped and die cut with the coordinating dies, colored with Prismacolor pencils, and attached with foam tape. To finish, I tied some twine along the top of the card.

Thanks for stopping by! Check back again tomorrow to see another Christmas card! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 7

I am back again to share another Christmas card with you this morning! I kept this card very clean and simple, and I really like how it turned out! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Winter Sparrow." Yep, that's it! I started by stamping the branch in brown ink and the sentiment below it in Memento black ink. I stamped the birdies onto white card stock, colored them with my Prismacolor pencils, cut them out, and attached them with foam tape. To finish the card, I added a few music notes above the sparrows. Quick and easy, and it would make a great layout to mass produce!

Well, thanks for stopping by! Have a nice, relaxing Sunday! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 6

Hello everyone! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? We are finalizing plans for my daughter's birthday party and working on mailing Christmas cards. We are hoping to make a gift for my daughter and if it turns out well, I will share it with you sometime! :)

Anyways, I have another Christmas card to share with you today!

I haven't added a big bow to a card for a long time! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Finley's ABCs," "Violet's ABCs," and Lawn Ornaments mixed sequins. The sentiment is also cut from LF's "Snow Day" petite paper pad. I die cut the sentiment from patterned paper and white card stock to give it some dimension, too!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you have a good weekend and don't forget to stop by again tomorrow for another Christmas card! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 5

Happy Friday everyone! I just realized that Christmas is only 20 days away! And there are still a few people that I need to get gits for! Time to go shopping! :)

I have another Christmas card to share with you today!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Happy Trails" and "Winter Gifts" stamp sets. I added a few lines to the card to make it look like a station wagon carrying a tree home to get decorated! Hehe!

Well, thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your day and I'll be back again tomorrow to share another Christmas card! :)

25 Days of ChristmasDay 4

Hello again! I am back to share another Christmas card for the 25 Days of Christmas series! But, instead of a card today, I am sharing Christmas tags! :)

These tags feature Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas" stamp set and die, as well as the "Tag Scallop" die. Having dies for the tags and images help to make Christmas tags really quickly!

I am also entering these tags into the current Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a good day! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 3

Eek, it's already December 3rd! Yesterday, we finished decorating our Christmas tree and of course listened to Christmas music. It is definitely starting to feel like Christmas now!

I have another Christmas card to share with you today!

This card features Paper Smooches "A Blessed Christmas." This is one of my new favorite Christmas stamp sets! For this card, I stamped the angel on one side and mirrored stamped it on the other so that they're facing each other. Then I stamped the stars and sentiment, and colored the images with Prismacolor pencils.

I am also entering this card in this week's Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - anything goes! The challenge is until December 7th so there is still time to play along! :)

Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow for another Christmas card! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 2!

Hello!! I have another card to share with you for my 25 Days of Christmas card series!

This card represents my little family wishing someone a Merry Christmas! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Making Frosty Friends," "Critters in the Arctic," (for the baby snowman's hat!) and "Stitched Hillside Border" dies. I used two different shades of blue glitter paper for the background. The snowmen and their accessories were stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I used foam tape to give the hills some dimension, and I even put the "daddy" snowman behind the first hill. Here is a close up:

Well, thanks for stopping by! I'll have more Christmas cards to share with you everyday until Christmas! Have a good day! :)

Lawnscaping #95 - White on White

Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a nice Thanksgiving weekend! We had a whole week of Thanksgiving festivities with family members, so we had a lot of fun! I even made a turkey shirt for the little one to wear! She was so cute in it!

Since it's the first Monday of the month, that means there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

I have to warn you - this is a hard one! It took me forever to finally think of what to do with this challenge and I'm not completely satisfied with the result, but here it is:

Eh! White on white is hard! I also smeared a snowflake on the right side, so that's a bummer too. Oh well, the next one will be better! :)

Anyways, this card features Lawn Fawn's "Cole's ABCs" dies and "Critters in the Arctic" (for the snowflakes). I die cut 3 sets of letters for the sentiment so that there was so dimension to the letters and then I attached them to a piece of vellum. Then, I stamped and embossed a bunch of white snowflakes around the sentiment. That idea was better in my head - oh well!

Well, don't forget to play along with this challenging challenge! I can't wait to see what you create. The winner will receive a $25 gift cerficiate from Simon Says Stamp! Yay! :)

Simon Says Stamp Store Blinkie photo SSS_09_2103_zpsc2c6b992.gif

Also, I will be continuing my annual 25 Days of Christmas Cards this year! Last year I was only able to make 13 cards (sorry everyone!), but I'll have 25 this year! Come back everyday leading up to Christmas to see a different card! :)
