Congrats card!

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is doing well this week. It definitely feels like summer now! This week was humid and warm, and we were able to spend a bunch of time outside!

Anyways, I wanted to share a card with you today that I made a while ago for a friend.

The schools in our area have about two weeks left of school. My husband is a teacher so I can't wait for school to be over so that he can spend a bunch of time with my daughter and I!

For this card I used Lawn Fawn's "Critters in the Forest," "Hats Off to You," "Violet's ABCs," "Flirty Frames," and "Let's Polka" petite paper pack. I stamped the images in Memento black ink and colored everything with Prismacolor pencils. I really like the look of adding the Flirty Frames to the top of bottom of the images to frame everything together.

I also wanted to remind everyone that Lawn Fawn's Inspiration and Release Week starts today!! They will be showing a bunch of new products this week and having a giveaways throughout the week, so don't forget to check that it! I can't wait to see what they created!

Well, thanks for stopping by! I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day! :)

I love you like...

Hello! I hope that you're having a good week so far! I wanted to quickly share a card with you that I made a while ago.

That mouse really likes his cheese! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Milo's ABCs," "Critters on the Farm," and "Best Pun Ever" stamp sets. I really wanted to make something that featured the cheese from the "Best Pun Ever" set, and I thought the mouse would go perfectly with the cheese!

Well, thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your week! :)

Lawnscaping #106 - Try a New Technique

Hi everyone! I hope that you all had a nice weekend! We enjoyed a minor league baseball game with our youth group this weekend, and some fireworks, too! It was a lot of fun, even though the game lasted forever (it went into the 13th inning and I never thought it would end!).

There is a new Lawnscaping Challenge today, which is all about trying a new technique!

I remember that Yainea shared this technique a long while ago, so I tried it! I used foam to create a stamp!

I used Lawn Fawn's "Scripty Thanks" die to die cut some foam, and then attached it to a stamping block with some adhesive. I then used some colorful inks, including Lawn Fawn's "Wild Rose," "Freshly Cut Grass," and "Mermaid" inks, to stamp the sentiment. After I stamped the sentiment multiple times, I added some stars to give it some more details.

I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge! The winner will receive a free stamp set from Lawn Fawn, too!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a great week! :)

Masculine and Feminine Birthday Cards

Hi everyone! I have two cards to share with you today that are being featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog! I made a feminine and masculine birthday card with the same layout!

The feminine birthday card features patterned paper from "Let's Polka" and "Let's Polka, Mon Amie." The Mon Amie paper is great for girly cards because of the soft, pastel colors.

The masculine card has the same layout, but I used patterned paper from "Pint-sized Patterns, Beachside" and I switched the hearts to stars. Using different patterned paper gives it such a different feel! Both of these cards also feature Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Stackable Circle Dies" and "Year Two" stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks to Kelly Marie for featuring my cards today! I hope that you all have a great day! :)

You're the coolest!

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week so far! The weather has been gorgeous lately, so we've been able to take some walks, watch some softball games (my husband plays in a church league), and swing in the backyard. It's so nice!

I have a quick card to share with you today. I always need more thank you card and this was really easy to put together.

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Best Pun Ever" stamp and dies, "Scripty Thanks" die, "Stitched Square Stackable" die, Let's Polka petite paper pack, and Wild Rose ink pad. I used the Wild Rose ink to ink some white card stock before running the Thanks die through my Cuttlebug. That way the "thanks" matched the other ink and the pattern paper perfectly!

Well, thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day! My daughter just went done for a nap so it's time to get some chores done around the house! :)

Lawnscaping #105 - Watercolors

Hi everyone! Sorry that my post is a little bit late. This weekend was so busy that I completely forgot to post it until now!

Anyways, the current Lawnscaping challenge is all about watercolors!

Watercolor backgrounds are always so, so pretty, but I have such a hard time making mine look as nice, so I decided to use inks as watercolors to color my images!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Best Pun Ever" and "Riley's ABCs" stamp sets, as well as Wild Rose, Freshly Cut Grass, and Mermaid ink pads. I also used Hero Arts Stone Wash and Butter Bar inks for the yellow and dark blue popsicles. To color the images, I dabbed the inks onto some wax paper and added some water. Then using a paint brush, I colored the images with the ink! Lawn Fawn's inks worked really well for this technique (the hero art inks turned out splotchy!)

The sponsor for this challenge is Ellen Hutson and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to their store!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a good day! The weather is beautiful today so I think we'll spend some time outside! :)
