Hi everyone! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the new Stitched Basket die and Perfectly Plaid Spring patterned paper!
I made a banner with the little baskets to create a countdown to Easter!
The bunnies are from the Some Bunny and Hoppy Easter sets, and the numbers are die cut from the Quinn's 123s dies and black cardstock.
Each basket has a roll of paper with a Bible verse to read each day leading up to Easter! It's going to be a fun way to help my kiddos learn more about the details leading up to the Resurrection and to help them keep their focus on Christ during the Easter season.
In case you're interested, here are the verses in each basket:
Palm Sunday - The Triumphal Entry - Mark 11:1-11
Monday - Jesus Anointed at Bethany - Mark 14:3-9
Tuesday - Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet - John 13:1-5
Wednesday - The Lord's Supper - Mark 14:16-25
Thursday - Gethsemane - Mark 14:32-46
Good Friday - The Crucifixion - Mark 15:21-39
Saturday - The Burial - Mark 15:42-47
Thanks so much for stopping by! There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! :)
I love your Easter countdown baskets! This is a fantastic idea for the little ones to understand the meaning of Easter! Thank you for including the Bible passages you used. I'd like to do something similar for my niece and nephew.
