Good morning everyone! It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn inspiration week and I have one more project to share with you. I used the Plant-A-Succulent dies to create bookmarks!
I used the Large and Small Mini Slimline dies to die cut the bases for the bookmarks with cardstock and Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow patterned paper. After die cutting the bookmarks, I attached the paper layers together, used a hole punch to add a hole at the top, and tied twine to the top.
Next, I die cut the pot, leaves, and flowers from the Plant-A-Succulent die and ink blended them with distress oxide inks. The plants were glued together and attached to the bookmarks with foam tape. Then, I stamped and die cut the speech bubbles from the A Birdie Told Me stamp set and stamped sentiments from Simply Sentiments, Wavy Sayings, and Happy Wavy Sayings.
These were fun to make and would be cute with other die cut or stamped images. It wasn't long until my kids claimed the bookmarks for their own books, haha!
Thanks for visiting and for all of your sweet comments this week. Hope you have a great day!
