Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #117 - Lots of Hearts

Good morning, friends! It's been a while since I've shared a card, but I'm back again with a card for the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge!

The challenge is called Lots of Hearts and there is a photo collage to help inspire your Valentine creations. I was inspired by the love picture in the lower right hand corner and I used it to create this card:

I started by ink blending a background, with lots of hearts! I used the heart layer in the Conversation Heart Stencil set to ink blending the hearts. I stated with a light pink and ink blended along the top. After ink blending all of the hearts and while the stencil was still in place, I used a piece of washi tape to cover the top part of the heart and ink blended the bottom part in a darker color of ink. It created a fun, two-toned heart background!

After creating the heart background, I attached it to an Outside In Stitched Rectangle die cut in Chili Pepper cardstock and attached it to a white card base. Then, I used the Louie's ABCs dies to cut the "love" letters from red sparkle cardstock and attached them to the background. The "ya" is from the Big Scripty Words set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. 

I finished the card by adding a few gold hearts from the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag set.
