LF Inspiration Week: Giant Happy Mother's Day

Hello everyone! I hope that you are enjoying all of the Lawn Fawn inspiration this week. My card today uses the Giant Happy Mother's Day die!

I thought that the sentiment would be fun to use in a Platform Pop-Up card. I used the Flower Market paper to create the platform card (you can follow assembly instructions on the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel). The front and back layers are grass cut from the Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow patterned paper and the middle layer is cut from acetate to help the sentiment stand out.

To create the sentiment, I die cut layers with metallic gold cardstock and two shades of pink textured canvas cardstock. I cut out the "mother's" from the dark pink die cut and attached it to the light pink layer, and then attached both layers to the gold layer slightly offset. To add some shading to the sentiment, I lightly ink blended along the bottom of the letters in pink inks. 

After attaching the sentiment to the middle, I arranged the images from the Gleeful Garden stamp set on the rest of the pop-up layers. I love those cute, little snails!

This sentiment die is so cute and is perfect to create quick and easy Mother's Day cards.

LF Inspiration Week: Giant Easter Messages

 Hi friends! Today, we're sharing projects from Lawn Fawn that use the Giant Easter Messages stamp set. The giant messages sets are perfect for quick and easy cards!

First, I stamped the giant sentiment onto white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I love the little details that are added around the sentiments. Next, I used the oval die from the Giant Birthday Messages Die. I used the scalloped die in the Giant Easter Messages Die set to cut another oval from purple cardstock and attached it behind the sentiment panel. The ovals are attached to patterned paper from the Gotta Have Gingham Rainbow paper collection. 

I wanted to add some more images to the card, so I stamped, colored, and die cut the eggs and carrots from the Easter message set, and the bunny and chocolate from the Eggstra Amazing Easter stamp set. I love those cute bunny and Easter images!

Do you create and mail Easter cards? I usually make a few each year, but I'm terrible at mailing them in time. Maybe someday I'll get better at the sending part!

LF Inspiration Week: Window Scene: Spring

 Is it Spring in your neck of the woods yet? We're finally having consistent Spring weather here and I am so excited!

For the Lawn Fawn inspiration week, we're sharing cards that feature the Window Scene: Spring stamp set. This is the second set in the window scene series (and I'm assuming there will be more!).

I started with a white card base and attached a piece of patterned paper from the Flower Market collection and die cut it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die. I use those rectangle dies on almost every card! Then, I stamped and colored the spring scene, along with a few images from the Garden Before 'n Afters stamp set. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the scene and the frame (I love that the set includes that frame die!) and attached it to the card base (double sided tape for the scene and foam tape for the frame). To finish the card, I stamped and die cut the sentiment onto Mermaid cardstock and tied twine along the top.

Hopefully the flower in the scene will bloom with some water and sunshine!

LF Inspiration Week: Garden Before 'n Afters

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn design team has a ton of inspiration to share with you this week! I'm excited for you to see what everyone has created!

Today, we're sharing projects that use the Garden Before 'n Afters stamp set. This set works great with the interactive dies like the Magic Picture Changer or Flippin' Awesome, but it also looks great on its own!

A fun way to arrange images is to use a grid design. For this card, I started by stamping the sunflower eight times and coloring the flower pots in a rainbow of colors. I also stamped and colored a few of the other images to add in the corners. Initially, I designed the card to have the smaller images on the outside of the design, so I used colors that fit with the rainbow colors I already picked. After die cutting the images and arranging them on the card base, I decided that it looked better with the images on the inside, so the colors aren't exactly what I planned, but I still really like it!

I used a white card base and attached a piece of Flower Market paper cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. I arranged the images onto the card and attached them with foam tape. I wanted the sentiment to be in three different strips, so I cut the sentiment stamp apart (I do this all the time!), white heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, trimmed them with my paper trimmer, and attached them with foam tape.
