LF Release Week: Tiny Fairy Tale, Build-A-Castle, and Brick Stencil

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share this card today that features the new Build-A-Castle die from Lawn Fawn!

How cute is this die?! My 6 year old daughter is obsessed with this die and is always asking to make castles. And the new Tiny Fairy Tale stamp set looks so cute with the castle!

I started this card by using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle and cardstock to create the background. I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders for the grass and added a Simple Grassy Hillside behind it even though it's hard to see. The castle is cut with gray cardstock and ink blended with the new Brick Stencil and Hippo ink. The tops of the castle were cut from Shimmer cardstock and I used the Woodgrain cardstock for the doors and windows. So cute!

After attaching the castle with foam tape, I added a few trees from the Happy Village set and the potted plants from the Village Shops set. The first part of the sentiment is from the Tiny Fairy Tale set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The new Scripty Birthday die was die cut with Sparkle Cardstock and attached along the bottom of the card. I finished by adding a few clouds in the sky. Here's a closer look at the card:

LF Release Week: Crazy Antics

Hi everyone! I hope you're enjoying the new Lawn Fawn products. Which ones are on your wish list so far?

Todays stamp set might be my favorite from the new release. I have two cards to share that feature the Crazy Antics set.

My first card features the two little mice sharing a block of cheese! How cute are they?! They don't even notice the little ants trying to take the rest of their lunch. To create the scene, I used the Stitched Square Stackables die and Stitched Hillside Border with cardstock for the sky and grass. The images are all stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copics, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I arranged the images on the scene and attached with foam tape or liquid glue. I really like that checkered picnic blanket!

For the sentiment, I used the A Birdie Told Me speech bubbles and stamped the sentiment from the Crazy Antics stamp set colored with blue copic markers. The speech bubbles are attached with foam tape, and I also added a few clouds from another new stamp set - All The Clouds.

For my second card, I created an underground ant home with the bigger ants that are included in the set. I started by ink blending the ground with distress oxide inks and flicked black ink onto the background for some extra detail.

After the background was ink blended, I die cut it with the Slide On Over Maze die to create their underground tunnels. I added an ink blended sky along the top and glued a bunch of dirt hills from the A Bug Deal stamp set to make it look like an ant hill. The ants and food are all glued in place along the tunnel paths and the sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. Here's another look at the card:

Those ants are so cute carrying the food that they found!

LF Release Week: Ocean Shell-fie and Ocean Wave Stencils

Hi friends! I hope you're enjoying the Lawn Fawn release week so far. Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the new stamp set, Ocean Shell-fie!

This set has the cutest sea critters! And it's so fun that you can have the critters facing different directions. For my first card, I used the critters in the first photo to look like they're taking a picture, and the second picture is what the picture looked like. I used the Selfie Frames for the pictures and attached them to the card with washi tape. The background paper is from the Really Rainbow Scallops patterned paper cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle stackables die.

For my second card, I ink blended a oval background with distress oxide inks and the new Ocean Wave Stencils. I stamped a few bubbles in the water and attached the octopus and jelly fish with foam tape, and the other images with glue.

The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, die cut with the Everyday Sentiment Banner die, and attached with foam tape. That octopus is just the cutest!
