Lawnscaping #76 - Dust 'Em Off

Happy President's Day! Do you get the enjoy the day off from work? I hope so! Hopefully you're also not drowning in snow from this weekend! (I'm so ready for spring!)

It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge! The challenge this week is to create a card with a product that may have been overlooked and collecting dust in the corner.

I decided to "dust off" some of my Lawn Fawn dies to create this card:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Blue Skies" stamp and die, "Home Sweet Home" stamp and die, "Good Fortune," "Bon Voyage," and some patterned paper from Into the Woods petite paper pack. Lawn Fawn is also coming out with a die set to complement the "Bon Voyage" stamp set, so this card would be so easy to make with all of the dies!

The hot air balloons and the banner are attached with foam tape to give them some dimension. I also added some glitter to the edges of the clouds and on the hearts on the hot air balloons. You can't have a card without glitter! :)

This week's challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn, so the winner will receive a stamp set of their choice! And they have some great stamp sets that they just released!

Thanks for coming by! I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge! :)

  1. I agree - I can't seem to have a card without glitter these days too!! This is just so sweet, Elise! Love those big, puffy clouds!

  2. These hot air balloons look so sweet paper-pieced! Adorable card, Elise!

  3. This is very sweet! The paper-pierced balloons are so fun with those puffy, glittery clouds!

  4. Love the pattern paper stamping as always your trademark! The sparkle on the clouds is heavenly! ;)

Thank you so much for leaving a comment! They brighten my day! :)
