Hello! I hope that the weather is starting to feel like spring where you are! Today it was in the 70s and it was wonderful! I wanted to stay outside all day! :)
I have a birthday card that I made recently that I wanted to share.
When you pull on the fortunes, this is what they say:
I was surprised at how easy it was to make a moving card! I made a small slit behind the cookies and slid the fortunes behind the patterned paper. I added a little piece of extra paper to the end so that you can't pull the fortunes out the whole way. These images are all from Lawn Fawn's "Good Fortune" stamp and die set, and the patterned paper is from October Afternoon's "9 to 5" collection.
Have you ever made a moving or sliding card? Thanks for stopping by! :)
So clever! Great idea for a birthday card.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I was attracted to this picture right away because of how colorful it is. The pattern paper is perfect with the Kraft fortune cookies! Today the weather was amazing here in CA. I've never made a sliding card before--but I think I need to create one soon! Thanks for sharing this :-D I'm inspired.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Elise! Love the striped paper as the background and I especially love how you combined sentiments- so fun!
