LF Sneak Peek Week: Yeti or Not

Hi friends!! Lawn Fawn sneak peeks continues today with a look at more new stamp sets!

My card today features the new Yeti Or Not stamp set. Aren't those yetis adorable?! I really like the accessories that are included in this set, like the snowboard, goggles, and the frozen treats!

To create the background, I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop die cut from white cardstock. Then, I used the Stitched Mountain Borders cut from the new Pearlescent Vellum (it's soo pretty!) and added Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock for the snowy peaks. Behind the mountains, I added a piece of Mermaid cardstock and stamped snowflakes with embossing ink to give it a tone on tone look.

The yetis and accessories are all colored with Copic markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and attached with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for visiting today! I'll have another card to share with you tomorrow! :)

LF Sneak Peek Week: Tree Before 'n Afters

Good morning! The sneak peeks on the Lawn Fawn blog continue today so make sure to check out all of the adorable projects over there!

The Tree Before 'n Afters set was showcased earlier this week, but I didn't get a chance to share the card that I created with the new set! I love how you can create trees for each of the four seasons. I can't wait to use these trees on cards with critters and make different scenes for different seasons!

This card features a bunch of LF cardstocks, as well as the Peekaboo Backdrop (just the include squares - not the frame), Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and Simple Grassy Hillsides. This set also includes a bunch of different smiley faces for the trees. My favorite is the cold face on the winter tree, haha!

Thanks so much for stopping by and come back again tomorrow for another new card! :)

LF Sneak Peek Week: Foursquare Backdrop and Christmas Fishes

Hi again!! Did you see all of the sneak peeks on the Lawn Fawn blog yesterday and today?! All of the new products are so cute!

Today, I'm sharing a card that features the new Christmas Fishes stamp set and Foursquare Backdrop die! How cute are those critters?!

The images are all stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. For the background, I used Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, and Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and attached it to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white card base. Then, I attached the new backdrop die, which is great to use to create smaller scenes on your card! Then, I attached all of the images and white heat embossed the sentiment. I think the seaweed Christmas tree is my favorite - it's so clever and cute!

Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration! Have a great day! :)

LF Sneak Peek Week: Fortune Teller Tabby

Hi everyone! I hope that you're excited for this week, because it's Sneak Peek Week at Lawn Fawn! We'll be sharing projects this week that feature new products that will be available on August 22nd. Start making your list and saving your pennies! :)

Today, I'm sharing a card that features the new Fortune Teller Tabby stamp set and new Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On. How cute is that tabby?!

The tabby is stamped onto white cardstock with Jet Black ink, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating die. The set includes a circle die so that you can cut out the center of the crystal ball. I also stamped and colored a kitty from the Keep On Swimming stamp set. I used the speech bubble from Say What? Pets for part of the sentiment. To get the sentiment straight, I cut the stamp in half and curved each part of the sentiment until it looked straight.

For the reveal wheel, I die cut the top paper from Fog cardstock with the Reveal Wheel Square Add-On die and I used the new circle add-on for the center. The fortune teller set includes those fun, curved sentiments inside the crystal ball! And there is also a reveal wheel template for the circle add-on which makes stamping the sentiment so easy!

Before I glued the cats to the card, I cut a piece of grey Gotta Have Gingham patterned paper and added it as a floor for the scene. I also added a thin piece of white cardstock to look like trim. Then, I glued the cats in place and added the speech bubble with foam tape.

After the reveal wheel was assembled, I attached it to a piece of Sparkle Cardstock - Autumn and attached it to a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" white card base. I also added a few stars and sequins above the cat to add some extra detail to the card. Here's a look at all of the sentiments in the crystal ball:

I'll be back again tomorrow with some more inspiration with the new Lawn Fawn products! Everything will be available on August 22nd! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more sneak peeks!

We Herd It's Your Birthday with Waffle Flower

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great summer so far! The weather has been really nice so far, but this weekend is suppose to be really hot and humid! I'll probably just stay in our basement and eat popsicles until the weather cools down, haha!

I have a set of cards to share with you that feature the We Herd stamp set from Waffle Flower! I recently found this set in a craft store on vacation and I had to get it! That group of llamas is so fun!

For the first card, I stamped the bunnies and balloons onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I fussy cut the images and set them aside until my background was ready. For the background, I ink blended Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar distress oxide inks onto Bristol smooth cardstock and spritzed it was a little bit of water. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and attached the images with foam tape. I used a thin black markers to draw the lines for the balloons and added a few clear sequins. I finished by adding a white frame around the card cut with the Stitched Rectangle Frames from Lawn Fawn.

My second card features the llamas in the stamp set! My favorite is the llama with the hair covering his face, haha! For this card, I added party hats to the llamas to help them celebrate the birthday! The background was created with Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron distress oxide inks. I also added a few details to the images with a white gel pen.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you like the cards! Have a great day!! :)

Happy Birthday with Hello Bluebird

Hi friends! I hope you're all having a great summer so far! We're enjoying the warm weather by spending lots of time outside either camping, playing in the yard, or visiting our local amusement park.

I have a fun card to share with you today that features some products from Hello Bluebird!

This card uses the flamingos from the Silly Birds stamp set! My daughter and I always have so much fun coloring those cute birds! I stamped and colored a trio of birthdays with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating die cuts. I added a birthday hat to each of them, and also colored and cut out some hearts and grass that are included in the stamp set.

I heat embossed part of the sentiment onto black cardstock and cut out the rest of the sentiment with the Happy Birthday Words die set. That scripty sentiment is so cute! I created a scene for the birds by ink blending a sky with Broken China and Tumbled Glass distress oxide inks. The grass is die cut with the Simple Grassy Hillsides die from Lawn Fawn and ink blended with Lucky Clover and Mowed Lawn distress oxide inks. After creating the background, I attached it to a white card base with a tape runner, glued the "birthday" and grass images in place, and attached the birds, hearts, and "happy" sentiment with foam tape. Here's a close up on the card:

Thanks so much for visiting today and I hope you have a great week! :)
