LF Inspiration Week: Textured Embossing Powder

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week! I'm back to share another project with you for the Lawn Fawn bonus inspiration day!

Lawn Fawn now carries embossing ink pads and ink pens that are perfect to use with heat embossing. They also have a new embossing powder - Textured White. It creates a really cool, textured effect for your projects. For my card today, I used the embossing ink pen with the textured embossing powder to create a snowy effect on the trees from the Christmas Dream set. I also used patterned paper from the new Really Rainbow Christmas set, along with the Pixie Dust Sparkle cardstock for the snowy hillside. The sentiment is from the Winter Scripty Sentiment and Simply Winter Sentiments sets. Here's a close up on the textured embossing powder:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope that you have a great weekend, and I can't wait to see what you all create with the new Lawn Fawn products!!

LF Inspiration Week: Mini Pop-Up Box

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week so far! I'm back to share a card with you that features the new Mini Pop-Up Box from Lawn Fawn!

I used images from the Happy Harvest set to create a fun, thank you card. The front of the card features a few sunflowers and a crow, along with Knit Picky Fall patterned paper and the new Woodgrain cardstock. The banner is included in the Mini Pop-Up Box die and the sentiment is from the Critter Concert set. And then, when you open the card...

... BAM! A mini box pops up!! I die cut the box from the Woodgrain cardstock and filled it with images from Happy Harvest. It's such a fun surprise to include on the inside of a card! I also used the Bannertastic set to highlight the sentiment.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the design team inspiration over on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have enjoyed all of the inspiration this week! All of the new LF products will be available tomorrow at the Lawn Fawn store, yay!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Caramel Apple

Hello again! I hope that you're enjoying the Lawn Fawn inspiration this week!

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the new Caramel Apple set!

This set is so cute and it's perfect for fall! And who doesn't like apples and caramel?? For my card today, I colored and die cut a group of caramel apples in a few different colors. I added a few bows and two speech bubbles, which are from the Hay There stamp set. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock and cut with the Everyday Sentiment Banner. For the background, I used the Knit Picky Fall patterned paper and the Autumn Sparkle Cardstock.

Check out the rest of the inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog - the design team has some awesome projects to share! And stop by again tomorrow for more inspiration! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Vellum

Hi everyone! I hope that you all have a nice weekend! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at a few new products!

Lawn Fawn now carries a few different types of paper including vellum and Neenah 80 lb. white cardstock! I recently switched to Neenah cardstock, and Copic markers blend so nicely on it! You definitely need to give it a try if you don't already use it.

For my card today, I used the LF vellum to create a fun, snowy sky!

I used the new Snowfall Backdrop to dry emboss onto the vellum to create a really neat, snowy background. I layered the vellum over an ink blended sky with mountains created from the Stitched Mountain die. The snowy hills are die cut from the Sparkle cardstock (it's soo pretty!), and the images are all from the new Winter Skies set. The sentiment is from the Winter Scripty Sentiments set and is embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock. To create the frame around the scene, I used the Leafy Tree Backdrop cut from white cardstock and I trimmed the tree out so that I was left with the frame. Here's a close up on the card:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: So Owlsome

Hi everyone! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at some new products!

This card features the new So Owlsome set! The owls are adorable in this set, and it includes the apple, glasses, and graduation caps as well! I also used one of the new sentiment dies, Thanks Teacher Line Border die. The smaller sentiment that is white head embossed on the back cardstock is also part of the So Owlsome set.

I also used the new Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows. I really like the scalloped detail that the new window dies create. I die cut the outside of the frame with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die so that there would be stitching detail on each side. And, I used the new Knit Picky Fall patterned paper as the background for the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you like the card! Come back again tomorrow for more inspiration! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Apple Frames

Happy Saturday! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? My husband starts school next week, so I think we're just going to relax and enjoy the last slow weekend before school starts. And I'll make him do a few more projects before summer is over, haha!

Anyways, Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Stitched Apple Frames and Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables! I cut these tags from different colors of Lawn Fawn cardstock including Cilantro, Sticky Note, Chili Pepper, Vanilla Malt, Black Licorice, Noble Fir, Paper Bag, and the new gold glitter cardstock from the Holiday Sparkle pack. The rest of the sentiment is from the So Owlsome stamp set. I also used a hold punch to add a hole near the top and I tied Lime Lawn Trimmings for the string.

These turned out so cute and these would be adorable to add to a teacher gift! There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so don't forget to check it out! Thanks so much for visiting!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Double Slider Surprise

Good morning! I hope that you're having a great day so far! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the new Double Slider Surprise die!

This die is so neat! I have seen cards like this before and they always seemed confusing to make, but this die set makes it so easy!

I really like the "whole herd" sentiment from the Hay There set, so I thought it would be cute to have a ton of animals there to wish happy birthday! I also used the dog from the Happy Howloween set and the party hats from the Wild For You set. The background is ink blended with Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass.

The banner is also included in the Double Slider Surprise set, and I ink blended it with Peachy Keen ink. The hearts are stamped in Wild Rose ink, and the background paper is from the new Really Rainbow Christmas paper collection.

I hope you like the card and I can't wait to see what everyone creates with this new die! Also, check out my Instagram page for a video of this card in action!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Pick of the Patch and Spooky Fence Border

Hi everyone! I hope that you've had a great summer so far! I had to take a break from crafting this summer, so I apologize for not sharing more cards with you. But, I'm glad to be back and sharing more inspiration!!

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects for the August Release Week! We are sharing inspiration for the new Pick of the Patch stamp set.

This set is adorable and I really like that you can change the faces on the different pumpkins. The LF squirrels are always so cute and now they can carve pumpkins! I also added the Spooky Fence Border in the background cut from Storm Cloud cardstock. I used the Simple Grassy Hillsides die, the Sun and Moon die, and the Leafy Tree Backdrop die to help create the scene. The sky, grass, and moon are all inked with Distress Oxide inks, as well as the stars in the sky. Here's a close up on the scene:

The new products will be available for purchase from the Lawn Fawn store on Thursday, August 23rd. And check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and for a chance to win some new goodies!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day! :)
