LF Inspiration Week: Outside In Stitched Cloud Stackables

Hi everyone!

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the Outside In Stitched Cloud Stackables die!

I used the die set to create two large, smiling clouds in the sky! I also used the Critter Concert to create this cute birthday card. The sky is ink blended with Mermaid ink, and the grass is ink blended with Cilantro ink. I also used the Simple Grassy Hillsides and Simple Stitched Hillside Border for the grass.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Village Shops

Good morning! I have a fun card to share with you that features the Village Shops set from Lawn Fawn!

I also used the Reveal Wheel die to make it an interactive card! The images on this card are all colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also used a few images from the Happy Village set, such as the sun, trees, and speech bubble. I had to make sure to use the ice cream truck, because it's just so cute! The sky and grass and ink blended with Mermaid and Cilantro ink, respectively, and I also used the Simple Road Border to help create the scene. Here's a close up on the card:

The background paper is from the Really Rainbow collection, and I thought it went perfectly with the pink shop on the right side of the card. I also cut the sentiment so that it would fit inside of the speech bubble, and I added it above the house to make it look like the people inside were talking about going outside for ice cream, haha! There is an ice cream truck that drives past my house every Thursday afternoon and my kids always enjoy watching it go by!

I also used the sentiments from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments. Here is a picture of the different sentiments that I used:

There are more projects on the Lawn Fawn blog, so don't forget to check them out! And there are giveaways over there this week, so make sure that you enter!

Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: I Scream, You Scream

Hi everyone! It's time again for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Yay!

Today, I have a card that features the I Scream, You Scream dies.

I used Ballet Slipper, Sunflower, Cilantro, Mermaid, and Chocolate Bar cardstock for the ice cream and cone. I also used coordinating inks to add a little bit of ink blending along the edges of the cardstock. I die cut the smiley faces and bite mark from the ice cream, and then added a piece of Black Licorice cardstock behind each ice cream scoop.

For the sentiment, I used Riley's ABCs stamped in black ink. I attached the ice cream with foam tape, added a few clear sequins, layered some Really Rainbow patterned paper behind the white cardstock panel, added some details with a white gel pen, and tied some Silver Sparkle Lawn Trimmings along the top. Here's a close up on the card:

I also have another card that I created that features the I Scream, You Scream dies and it's perfect for Father's Day! You can check it out here.

Check out more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! Now I'm getting hungry for ice cream.... :)

Hoppy Father's Day Card

Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a good morning today! It looks like a rainy day here, but it's the last day of school for my husband! We're excited to have him home for the summer!

I have a cute Father's Day card to share with you today that features the Toadally Awesome set from Lawn Fawn!

I used the Outside In Stitched Circle Stackables to cut a circle in a white cardstock panel that is slightly smaller than the card base. Then, I added a piece of cardstock behind the circle that is ink blended with Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxides. I stamped all of the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating die cuts. The cattails and grass are attached with glue, but I used foam tape to attach the frogs and lily pads.

The banner is from the Shadox Box Card Ocean Add-On die. I cut the banner from white cardstock and ink blended it with Cilantro ink. Then, I stamped the sentiment from the Toadally Awesome set in black in and attached the banner with foam tape. Here's a close up on the card:

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you have a great day and I'll be back in a few days to share more card inspiration with you! :)

Floral Card Set with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a good week so far! I have a fun card set to share with you that features Hello Bluebird stamps!

To create these cards, I stamped the large sentiments from Cheery Greetings onto a white cardstock panel cut with Lawn Fawn's Dotted Rectangle Stackables. Then, I used the solid rectangles included in the Cheery Greetings set, stamped it in black ink onto white cardstock, and used white embossing powder to heat emboss the different sentiments for each card.

I also stamped and colored the flowers from the Silly Birds stamp set with yellow, pink, and green Copic markers. I wanted the flowers to be different on each side of the sentiment, so I cut off the two smaller flowers on one of the flowers. Then, I attached the flowers with foam tape.

I also added a few details around the sentiments and flowers by stamping the three little lines and hearts included in the Cheery Greetings set. They are stamped in black ink and Wild Rose ink, respectively.

I finished the cards by attaching the white cardstock panels to patterned paper from the Perfectly Plaid Spring collection and attaching them to white card bases. This little set turned out so cute and I can't wait to mail them to friends!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

Lawn Fawn and Marvy Uchida

Hello everyone! This week, the Lawn Fawn design team is teaming up with Marvy Uchida to bring you some awesome inspiration!

For my card today, I used the I Scream, You Scream dies to create a cute Father's Day card! My husband laughs at this card because he thinks it looks like the dad ice cream cone is wearing a toupee, haha! The ice cream and cones are cut from Lawn Fawn cardstock, and I used patterned paper from the Really Rainbow collection for the background, bow, and bow tie. I used the Put A Bow On It die set to create the bows. The sentiment features the Bannertastic, Riley's ABCs, and Louie's ABCs sets.

I also used the double ended jewel picker to help adhere the sprinkles. It was super helpful! And, I used a white gel pen from Marvy Uchida to help add details to the ice cream, cones, and sentiment.

There will be inspiration each day this week on the Lawn Fawn blog, so don't forget to check it out! And thanks so much for stopping by! :)
