Hive Five Kit from Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! I hope that your summers are going well so far! We've enjoyed a beach vacation, vacation Bible schools in our area, and lots of time with family and friends! What have you be up to so far this summer?

Lawn Fawn has been working on a secret surprise and we're so excited to share that they are offering their first ever kit, Hive Five! It includes the cutest bee images, a stencil, paper, and die cuts! Can this "bee" any cuter?!

For this card, I started by stamping, coloring with Copics, and die cutting the bees, flowers, hive, banner, and sentiment from the stamp set. I love that little bees with the party hats, so I decided to make a birthday card (plus, I'm always running out of birthday cards!). After creating the images, I started working on the background. I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to a piece of patterned paper from the Stripes and Sprinkles paper pack. After attaching the paper to a white card base, I used the Honeycomb stencil to ink blend a small section on the background with Sunflower ink. Then, I arranged the images around the ink blended honeycomb, and attached them with foam tape.

Next, I worked on the sentiment. The "beeday" sentiment is perfect for birthday cards, so I used the Henry's ABCs to cut the letters from the patterned paper included in the kit. I cut three letters each and glued them together to make them stand out against the background. To finish, I stamped the "happy" from the Hive Five stamp set, and stamped a few dotted trails behind two of the bees.

Aren't those bees so cute?! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with this fun Hive Five stamp kit! And make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for a ton of cute inspiration from the design team!

LF Inspiration Week: Dream Big

Hello again! I have one more project to share with you all for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week that features the Dream Big stamp and die set. This set makes the cutest book marks!

I started by stamping the front and backs of the dragon and unicorns onto white cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers, die cut them with the coordinating dies, and added glitter to the images.

The patterned paper is from the Flower Market collection and I chose colors that coordinated with the images. My favorite thing about these book marks is that the arms hold the pages at the top!

These turned out so cute that my daughter already stole them for her and a friend! Now I need to make some more :)

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day, friends!

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Wavy Backdrop

Hi everyone! I hope you have been enjoying all of the inspiration this week. Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the Stitched Wavy Backdrop die. I thought it would be fun to use patterned paper with the wavy die, so I used All the Dot paper and ink blended the tops of the waves.

I attached the background to a white card base with double sided tape. I wanted a big, bold sentiment, so I used the Henry's ABCs die to cut the letters for "waving" out of blue cardstock. The "hello" is white heat embossed onto black cardstock from the Yay, Kites stamp set. I finished by adding a few sea critters from the Ocean Shell-fie stamp set.

Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

LF Inspiration Week: Giant Hooray and Lots of Stars Background Stencils

Hello again! I'm excited to have another card to share with you today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! My card today uses the Giant Hooray die and the Lots of Stars Background Stencils.

I started by creating the background for the card. I used distress oxide inks to ink blend the stars to a piece of white cardstock, and before the ink dried, I covered them with clear embossing powder. I heat set the stars, and once they were dried, I ink blended the rest of the background. I used Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Blueprint Sketch distress oxide inks. Once the background was finished, I attached it to a white card baes and added a white frame with the Stitched Rectangle Frames die.

After finishing the background, I started working on the rest of the card. I cut the Giant Hooray out of blue textured cardstock and added a few accents with a white gel pen. I glued the sentiment to the background, and added the "you did it" sentiment from the All-Star stamp set. The stars are also from the All-Star stamp set and are attached with foam tape.

This design would be great to create in different colors for graduation gifts!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
