I Look Up To You Mom

Hi everyone! I have one last Mother's Day card to share with you today!

For this card, I used the Rub-A-Dub-Dub ducks along with some of the smaller images from the Toadally Awesome stamp sets. I also used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop die and ink blended it with Forget-Me-Not ink to make it look like water.

The images are all colored with Copic markers and I used a white gel pen to add some detail to the ducks cheeks. I added some grass behind the water and tucked in a few cattails along the edge. The grass is inked blended with Cilantro ink and I used Mermaid ink for the sky. The sentiment is from the Mom + Me stamp set.

I hope that you have enjoyed the Mother's Day cards this week, and I hope it has inspired you to make some cards! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

So Happy That You Are My Mom

Hi again! I have a cute, floral, Mother's Day card to share today!

This round, floral card is so cute and is a perfect way to send "flowers" to your mom! :) The flowers are from the Little Flowers and Spring Sprig sets. To make the flowers and leaves, I ink blended white cardstock with Wild Rose and Cilantro ink before die cutting the images. I also added black enamel dots to the center of the flowers for some extra detail.

The sentiment is stamped in black ink and is from the Happy Happy Happy Add-On:Family and Mom + Me stamp sets. I really like the look of the mixed sentiments! I finished the card by attaching the card panel with foam dots to a the Perfectly Plaid Spring patterned paper cut from the Dotted Circle Stackable die. Here's a close up on the card:

I hope you have a great day! I'll be back again tomorrow with one last Mother's Day card. :)

I'm a Lucky Duck

Hi there! I have another Mother's Day card to share with you today!

This card features the Rub-A-Dub-Dub stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn. Those ducks are so cute and that set has the perfect sentiment for Mother's Day! The images are all colored with Copic markers. The ducks are attached with foam tape and the rest of the images are attached with glue.

For the background, I used the Gotta Have Gingham with Sunflower cardstock along the bottom. The gingham paper looks like it could be wallpaper in a bathroom!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll have another card to share with you tomorrow! :)

Happy Mother's Day Foxes

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week so far! I have a few Mother's Day cards to share with you this week!

The card that I'm sharing today features the Mom + Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The images are either stamped with inks (Freshly Cut Grass, Doe, Peachy Keen) or colored with Copic markers. The background is ink blended with Mermaid ink and the grass is inked with Cilantro ink. The sentiment is from the Happy Happy Happy Add-On: Family and Happy Happy Happy stamp sets.

I used the Birch Trees die to add some trees to the background, and I attached them with glue. The rest of the images are attached with glue except for the stump and foxes, which are attached with foam tape. After finishing the scene, I attached the panel to a piece of Gotta Have Ginham patterned paper cut from the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.

I'll be back again tomorrow to share more Mother's Day card inspiration with you all! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Speech Bubbles

Hi everyone! I hope you have enjoyed all of the inspiration from the Lawn Fawn design team this week!

Today, we are sharing projects that feature the Speech Bubbles die set! This set is great to use to make different critters talking! My four year old enjoys knock knock jokes, so I thought this joke would be perfect to use for a birthday card!

The inside reveals the joke pun and a pivot pop-up scene! The animals are all from the Wild For You stamp and die set, and the sentiment is made with Riley's ABCs. This card is so fun and it's even more fun to watch the recipient open it on their birthday!

Thanks so much for stopping by! And thank you for all of the sweet comments this week! You guys are the best! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Mini Pop-Up Butterflies

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Mini Pop-Up Butterflies!

These butterflies are so cute! For this card, I started with a white piece of cardstock that was slightly smaller than the card base. I used the large and middle butterfly dies to create a row of butterfly cutouts along the edge. I also used some black ink and flicked it onto the cardstock to give it some extra detail.

Then, I used the middle and small butterfly dies to cut butterflies from Really Rainbow patterned paper. I attached the white cardstock to the card base and glued the butterflies into the cutouts. Only glue the center of the butterflies so that the wings can be folded up slightly. I finished the card by adding the Scripty Thanks cut from black cardstock and adhering a few clear sequins around the butterflies.

The kids and flowers are from the Easter Party set and the sentiment is cut from white cardstock with the Thanks Line Border die. I also used the Dotted Circle Stackables die and the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders die to help create the scene.

LF Inspiration Week: Year Eight

Hi everyone! I hope that your weekend is going well! We're enjoying the gorgeous weather in central PA this weekend! It's such a nice change from the snow last weekend, haha!

The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Year Eight stamp set! I created a fun interactive birthday card!

When you pull the tab, it reveals the fortune! To make the fortunes slide, just add a small slit behind the fortune cookies with an x-acto knife, and slide the fortunes behind the slit. I did have to add extra paper at the end of the fortune to make sure that the fortunes don't slide the whole way out. And since the fortunes aren't very long, I added a tab with the words "pull here" stamped from the Push Here set, so that the fortunes are easier to slide out. I also added some hearts around the cookies with the Hearts die cut from Raspberry cardstock.

This card is actually a recreation of a card that I made a few years ago with the retired Good Fortune stamp set from LF. You can check out that card here! It's fun to recreate cards from before and see how your style may have changed throughout the years!

LF Inspiration Week: Slow Down and Enjoy

Good morning! I hope that you all had a good week! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? We're going to take the kids to a local soap box derby race this morning! My car-loving two year old boy is so excited to go and see the cars!

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the Slow Down and Enjoy stamp set. The sentiment "this is where I fell asleep" is perfect to use with the sloth on the bookmark dies! The animals are really cute to use a bookmarks, but they are also cute to use on cards!

For my card, I paired the elephant and sloth with the bear and deer from the For You, Deer set to make a fun birthday card! I tucked the animals behind a piece of Gotta Have Gingham patterned paper to make it look like they're sitting at a table. Add cupcakes from the Bun In The Oven set and party hats from the Wild For You set and the animals are at a birthday party! The sentiment is from Bannertastic, Simply Sentiments, and Hang In There stamp sets.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for a video on how to recreate this card! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Cloudy Hillside Pop-Up Add On

Hi everyone! I hope that you're ready for some inspiration because Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week starts today! I have a bunch of projects to share with you this week, and today I am sharing a card that features the Cloudy Hillside Pop-Up Add On die!

The pop-up add on is great to use with the Stitched Hillside Pop-Up, but it can also be used on it's own to create fun scenes! For this card, I paired the cloud dies with the hot air balloons from the Blue Skies stamp set.

I started by ink blending the sky with Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, and Fossilized Amber distress oxide inks. I also stamped a few small stars to the background with the same distress oxide inks. Then, I added the clouds along the bottom part of the card. The hot air balloons and stars are all colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from the Yay, Kites stamp and die set, and I also added a white frame around the scene.

Check out the other cards on the Lawn Fawn blog - there's also a giveaway there, too!

Technique Tuesday Guest Designer

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good week so far! I'm so excited to be a guest designer this month for Technique Tuesday!

My card today features the new Parker and Penny Pig stamp and die set. This new set features two cute pigs and a ton of punny sentiments.

To create this card, I started with a top folded card base made from Paper Bag cardstock and I stamped the small images in Doe ink. I used Lawn Fawn's Stitched Journaling Card, along with the Simply Grassy Hillside die and patterned paper to create the scene in the middle. The pigs, food, and trough are all colored with Copic markers. I also used an X-acto knife to cut a small slit into the trough so that I could slide the food into it. I finished the card by white heat embossing the sentiment onto Storm Cloud cardstockdie cutting it with the Everyday Sentiment Banner and attached it with foam tape. Here's a close up on the card:
