Lawn Fawn Black Friday Special

Hi everyone! I hope that you all have a great Thanksgiving this year! There's so much to be thankful for and I hope you were able to take time to thank God for everything he has blessed us with!

I have a card to share with you today that features a Black Friday special mini set from Lawn Fawn! This special set is available at the Lawn Fawn store. Orders over $35 will receive the free stamp set, and orders over $60 will receive the coordinating dies. Plus, shipping is free on all U.S. orders! Yay!

The unicorn and fairies in this set are so cute!! I started by stamping the images onto white cardstock with Jet Black ink and coloring with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images.

The background is created with Distress Oxide inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber for the yellow card, and Abandoned Coral and Worn Lipstick for the pink card. I also used the Cole's ABCs die cut to cut out the letters for the word "sparkles" and inked them with the same Distress Oxide inks.

I took a piece of white cardstock, cut it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die to add detail to the outside, and also used the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables in the middle. I used the Puffy Cloud Borders to cut clouds from vellum and the Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock and layered them behind the scalloped circle. Then, I attached the cardstock with foam tape over top of the card base with the inked background.

The first part of the sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. I glued the "sparkles" letters to the card and attached the rest of the sentiment with foam tape. Then, I attached the unicorn and fairies with foam tape, and I finished the card by adding a few heart and star embellishments from the Coconut Ice Sparkle Shaker selection. I also used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to add glitter to the unicorn and the "sparkles" letters, but it's hard to see that in the photos.

These cards are so cute and I can't wait to sent them to friends! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration with this cute set! And don't forget to order this special set, because it's only available until November 26th!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day! :)

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be sharing tags with you for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags from Tracey McNeely! Check out her blog for all of the information and for a chance to win the giveaway!!

I created a set of Christmas tags that features products from Lawn Fawn!

To create the tags, I die cut white cardstock with the Tag, You're It die. I used a variety of Distress Oxide inks to ink blend the tags, including Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron. I spritzed them with a little bit of water, let them dry, and then stamped the black detail around the tag with the Winter Gifts stamp set. The Winter Gifts set is no longer available, but these tags would also look cute with the Birthday Tags stamp set, or you could even draw the lines around the edge with a black marker.

The images are from the Christmas Dreams stamp set. I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I also used my Copic markers to add some extra detail to the images by adding small dots on the cat, dog, and trees! Then, I attached all of the images with foam tape. To finish the card, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Tiny Tag Sayings set with white embossing powder, and tied Lawn Trimmings twine to the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

Fawny Holiday Week

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying all of the inspiration from the Lawn Fawn and Lawn Fawnatics design teams for the Fawny Holiday Week! Today, I have a cute shaped card to share that features a few different sets from Lawn Fawn!

The images on these cards are from the Holiday Helpers and Sprinkled With Joy stamp sets. The images are all stamped onto Neenah 80 lbs white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and cut with the coordinating die cuts. The image are all arranged on a white circle cut from the Dotted Circle Stackables die and attached with foam tape or glue. The sentiment from the Winter Big Scripty Words set is stamped in Cranberry ink. The rest of the sentiment is from the Sprinkled With Joy set stamped in black ink. Just make sure to not include the "be" part of the sentiment!

I added a Fancy Scalloped Circle Stackables cut from Perfectly Plaid Christmas paper behind the white circle. That patterned paper is no longer available, but it would also look really cute with the paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas paper. Then, I added another circle behind the patterned paper to make it a circle card. To finish, I added a few heart and star confetti shapes from Coconut Ice Sparkly Shaker Selection. Here's a close up on one of the cards:

I hope these have inspired you to create some Christmas cards! I can't wait to see what everyone creates! And don't forget to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration! :)

Joy to the World with Hello Bluebird

Hi everyone! I hope your week is going well! I have a Christmas card to share with you today that features one of my new favorite sets!

This card features the Away In A Manger set from Hello Bluebird. They have some of the cutest sets and this is one of my favorites for Christmas! I started by stamping the images onto Neenah 80lb cardstock, coloring the images with Copic markers, and then cutting them out. The background is created with Distress Oxides on Bristol Smooth cardstock and spritzed with a little bit of water. I used Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables to cut the ink blended background and attached it to a white card base. I used white embossing powder to add the sentiment and then attached the images with foam tape. I finished the card by stamping a few small hearts in pink ink. Here's a close up on the scene:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this card! It's so cute, easy to make, and captures the true meaning of Christmas. Have a great day! :)

Spellbinders Layered Butterflies

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice week! Daylight saving really messed with my kid's sleep schedules, but I think they're finally adjusted to the new time. Whew!

I have a colorful card to share with you today that features the new clear stamps from Spellbinders!

I'm so honored to be able to play with these new products, because they're so cute! For this card, I used the Layered Butterflies and stamped them in some colorful inks! The inks for the butterflies are all from Lawn Fawn - Peachy Keen, Ballet Slippers, Lemonade, Sunflower, Freshly Cut Grass, Celery Stick, Forget-me-not, Mermaid, Grape Soda, and Fresh Lavender. I first stamped the butterflies onto white cardstock in the lighter shade, then stamped the second layer in a darker ink, added a few details with a white gel pen, and then fussy cut them out.

To create the background, I ink blended Distress Oxides inks onto Bristol smooth cardstock  (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Stormy Sky) and spritzed it with water. I trimmed the inked panel to fit onto an A2 sized card base. The sentiment is from the new Sentimental Words set and is stamped in black ink. I really like the bold, script sentiments included in that set! The butterflies are attached with glue dots and slightly curved so that they look like they're flying. I finished the card by adding a few clear sequins and stars.

Check out the rest of the new stamps at Spellbinders! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend! :)

Christmas Cheer Tags with Technique Tuesday

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a good week so far! Can you believe it's already November?! This year went by so fast!

Today, I have a set of Christmas tags to share with you that feature the new Dani Deer stamp set from Technique Tuesday!

I really like that their sets include so many cute, punny sentiments that can work for so many occasions! This Christmas sentiment is perfect to use on Christmas cards or tags. I used the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle die cut from Bristol smooth cardstock, and ink blended a sky with Distress Oxide ink leaving a small hill at the bottom for the snow. I stamped the snowflakes that are included in the set with the same Distress Oxide inks.

The deer are stamped onto Neenah 80 lbs. cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and cut with the coordinating die cuts. I attached the deer with foam tape, and then added the sentiment that is white heat embossed on black cardstock. I finished the tags by punching a small hole at the top and adding twine. These were cute and easy to put together, and they turned out so cute!

I also added some details to the deer with a white gel pen. Here's a close up look:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend! :)
