Lawn Fawn and Theromoweb

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a good week so far! I'm so thankful that it's finally fall! :)

I have a card to share with you today for the Lawn Fawn and Therm-o-web collaboration this week. Therm-o-web has a ton of great adhesive products to choose from!

For this card, I used the Purple Tape to mask a background. The top portion of the background is ink blended with Mermaid ink, and the bottom features the Freshly Cut Grass ink. The purple tape is great because you can use it a few times before it loses its stickiness, so I was actually able to use one piece to mask the sky and ground for two cards. The purple tape is also great to hold die cuts in place while you run them through your die cut machine! The images that I used on this card are from the Forest Feast and Elphie Selfie sets, and the sentiment is from the Big Scripty Words and Happy Happy Happy sets. The outside border is from the Stitched Scalloped Square Frames die.

Thanks so much for stopping by! And check out the Lawn Fawn blog and Therm-o-web blog to enter for a chance to win a gift card!

LF Inspiration Week: Say What? Christmas Critters and Gift Tags

Hi everyone! I hope you have enjoyed all of the inspiration this week! For the last day, the Lawn Fawn design team is featuring projects that use the Say What? Christmas Critters and Gift Tags!

The critters in this set are so cute, and I really like the punny sentiments that are included in the set! The gift tag die also makes it really easy to create shaker tags!

I created a set of four shakers tags using patterned paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas collection. I also used Twinkle Lights Sparkly Shaker Selection, Coconut Ice Sparkly Shaker Selection, and Swan Lane Sparkly Shaker Selection sequins. The images are all colored with Copic markers, and I used Silver Sparkle Lawn Trimmings for the string.

These turned out so cute and I can't wait to use them on Christmas gifts this year!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Winter Skies

Good morning everyone! I hope that your week is going well so far! :)

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Winter Skies stamp and die set!

I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut it with the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die. I stamped a few snowflakes with Lawn Fawn's Embossing Ink Pad, covered the snowflakes with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it with my heat gun. Then, I used Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks to lightly ink blend a sky. I also spritzed the background with a little bit of water to add some more detail to the sky. I attached that cardstock panel to a white card base and added the Copic colored images with foam tape. The sentiment is also heat embossed, die cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and attached with foam tape. Here's a close up on the card:

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you like the card! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration featuring the Winter Skies stamp set!

LF Inspiration Week: Sparkle Cardstock Pixie Dust

Good morning! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today!

The card that I am sharing today features the Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock. This cardstock is so pretty and it's perfect to use as snow!

I used the Critters in the Arctic along with the hat, scarves, and presents from the Baaah Humbug set. I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop for the snow, Birch Trees die cut from white cardstock for the trees, and Really Rainbow Christmas patterned paper for the snowy sky. I used double sided tape to attach the background, and foam tape to attach the critters, presents, and sentiment. The sentiment is from the Merry Messages set and is die cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banners die.

That moose is one of my favorite LF critters! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Reveal Wheel Square Add-On

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a good weekend so far! Will you be watching any football today? We took my kids to a high school football game on Friday, we watched Penn State play yesterday, and today we'll be cheering on the Steelers! It's been the weekend of football, haha!

I have another card to share with you today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, we are featuring the Reveal Wheel Square Add-On die. This die works with the Reveal Wheel die and it includes a square base, as well as two different window and frame styles.

I used the Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiment, along with the critters from Cheery Christmas, to create this fun reveal wheel card!

I used Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks for the sky, and I attached a piece of white cardstock cut from the Stitched Hillside Border dies for the snowy hillside. I also added a few trees from the Winter Skies set. All of the images are colored with Copic markers and are attached with foam tape (except for the trees). I also used patterned paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas collection as a frame behind the reveal wheel. Here's a look at all of the sentiments on this card:

LF Inspiration Week: Thanks A Latte

Hello again! I'm back today to share another card with you for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

Today, the design team is showcasing the Thanks A Latte stamp set. The mugs in this set are so cute and I really like the extra stamps that are included to add marshmallows and cream to the coffee mugs. I used the heart and snowflake stamps that are included to add some detail to the outside of some of the mugs!

I first stamped the mugs onto Neenah 80 lb. cardstock. For the red and green mugs, I stamped the cream and marshmallows in the mugs and then colored them with Copic markers. For the other two mugs, I first stamped the mugs onto scrap paper and cut out the mugs by hand. Then, I used the negative piece that I cut out (the outside of the images) and taped it onto of the original stamped mugs to create a mask so that the hearts and snowflakes wouldn't stamp outside of the mug lines. After the hearts and snowflakes were stamped, I removed the mask, colored the mugs with Copic markers, and die cut the images with the coordinating die cuts.

I arranged the images onto a piece of white cardstock cut with the Dotted Rectangle Stackable die, attached the images and sentiment with foam tape, and then I attached the white cardstock panel to a piece of Woodgrain Cardstock. I also added a few clear sequins from the Coconut Ice Sparkly Shaker Selection sequin set.

Thanks so much for stopping by! There will be more inspiration tomorrow! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Simply Winter Sentiments, Winter Scripty Sentiments

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week so far! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the Simply Winter Sentiments and Winter Scripty Sentiments stamp sets!

These sets work great on their own, but they always work great together! I really like pairing scripty and non-scripty sentiments, and these sets are perfect for that! I used these two sentiment sets, along with the new Say What? Christmas Critters set to create a fun Christmas card set!

The background are all created by white heat embossing the falling snow from the Snow Cool set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I used Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks to create a night sky over the falling snow. Then, I used white cardstock cut from the Simple Stitched Hillside die to create a snowy hill. The scenes are all attached with foam tape to a piece of Really Rainbow Christmas patterned paper cut from the Scalloped Rectangle Stackables die.

I also paired the critters with some bigger critters! I used the Winter Unicorn, the deer and penguin from the Toboggan Together set, and the Winter Alpaca.

The sentiments on each of these cards is a combination of the Simply Winter Sentiments and the Winter Scripty Sentiments. They look great together!

The images are all colored with Copic markers, and I even used a white gel pen to add some details to the critters, like on their rosy cheeks and on the scarves of the llamas (or alpacas - I don't know the difference!).

This would make such a cute set to gift to a friend or neighbor at Christmas time, and they're fairly easy to put together.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you like the card set! Check out the rest of the inspiration from the design team on the Lawn Fawn blog! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Holiday Helpers

Good morning! It's time for another Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The design team will be sharing projects that feature products from the Fall/Winter release, and all of the products are available at the Lawn Fawn store!

Even though it's only September, we're busy creating Christmas cards! Today, the design team is featuring the Holiday Helpers set and coordinating dies. The elves in this set are so cute, and you can create so many cute scenes with all of the smaller items that are included in this set!

For my card, I used the Peekaboo Backdrop to create smaller scenes. To create the background, I masked areas on the card base and lightly ink blended green and red Distress Oxide inks. I used Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Worn Lipstick, and Barn Door inks. Then, I arranged and glued the frame, elves, and all of the smaller images into the separate scenes. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock, die cut with the Everyday Sentiment Banners, and attached with foam tape.

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, and there's also a giveaway, so don't forget to enter! Thanks so much for stopping by and check back again tomorrow for more inspiration! :)

Nutty or Nice STAMPtember Exclusive

Good morning! It's the day that everyone has been waiting for - the Lawn Fawn STAMPtember set!

This set is adorable! It is only available at Simon Says Stamp, and it is only available while supplies last, so make sure to order your set today! You can find the stamp and die set here!

I have three cards to share today because I just couldn't stop, haha! For my first card, I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop and the Snowfall Backdrop to help create the scene. The sky is lightly inked with Mermaid ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock. The images are all stamped with Jet Black ink onto Neenah cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I also used the Pizza Crust ink for the tree branch.

For my next card, I created the sky with the same die and ink from the first card, but I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders for the snow hillside instead of the other hillside die. I also heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto black cardstock, and I used the Everyday Sentiment Banner to cut out the banner.

I also used Manatee ink to stamp the little footprints behind the squirrels. Just like the first card, I also used a white gel pen to add some details to the scarves and hearts.

This last card might be my favorite - it's simple but cute! For the background, I lightly inked a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Mermaid ink, but this time I didn't add any falling snow. Instead, I arranged the tree branches, squirrels, and ornaments, and attached most of the images with foam tape (except for the tree branches). Then, I used the smaller stamps that are included in this set, like the heart and stars, and stamped them around the images and sentiment to add some extra detail.

The stars are stamped in Sunflower ink. Here is a close up for this card:

I hope you have been inspired! This set is so cute and I'm sure it won't last long. If you want to order this set, make sure to go to Simon Says Stamp! Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)
