Musical Birthday with Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! I hope that your week is going well!

I saw the challenge for the Lawn Fawnatics blog and the sketch from Jenn looked so fun that I decided to join in on the fun!

A friend has a birthday soon, and she likes music, so I thought she'd enjoy a bunch of cute critters playing the Happy Birthday song! I stamped and colored images from the Critters Concert stamp set and cut them with the coordinating dies. I colored them with Copic markers and added some extra detail with a white gel pen. I die cut a bunch of music notes from the Little Music Notes die from black cardstock. The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and die cut from the Simple Wavy Banners die.

For the background, I attached a white cardstock panel cut from the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and attached it to a white card base. I had leftover squares that were cut from the Foursquare Backdrop die, so I took those and ink blended them in different colors with distress oxide inks. I arranged the squares onto the cardstock panel and attached them with double sided tape. Then, I arranged the critters, sentiment, and music notes on the card. I finished by stamping some small music notes in the background. Here's a closer look:

Did you get a chance to play along with the challenge? There's still a few days left! I always enjoy seeing the different cards that everyone creates for each challenge!

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Dandy Day

Hi friends! I hope you're excited because the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week starts today! The design team will be sharing projects this week that feature the new Lawn Fawn release which will be available for purchase on Thursday, February 20th.

Today, we are sharing projects that feature the Dandy Day stamp set! How cute are those little mice? Especially that little baby mouse!

I created this card by using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die on a piece of white cardstock and lightly ink blended the background with an oval stencil and Lawn Fawn inks (Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass). I attached the piece of white cardstock to a white card base. I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating die cuts. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock and die cut the sentiments with the Simple Wavy Banners die. I arranged the images and sentiments onto the card, attached them with foam tape, and then finished the card by stamping a few hearts and dandelion seeds on the background.

My second card today features the Dandy Day stamp set with a custom sentiment using the new Oliver's Stitched ABCs die!

I created the background with the Meadow Backdrop die and ink blended the sky and grass with Distress Oxide inks. The images are all colored with Copic markers and attached with foam tape. For the sentiment, I cut the letters for dandy three times and glued them together. I ink blended the bottom of the top layer of the sentiment in pink to add some extra color to the card.

There's a ton of inspiration this week on the Lawn Fawn blog, so make sure to stop by and enter the giveaway each day!

Thanks for visiting and I'll have more inspiration to share tomorrow! :)

LF Inspiration Week: You're Just My Type and Love Poems

Good morning, friends! Get ready because the adorable Lawn Fawn Release week starts today! This week the design team will be sharing inspiration from the new Valentine's Day release which will be available for purchase on Thursday, December 12th. Just in time for Christmas, too! :)

Today, we are sharing inspiration that features the You're Just My Type and Love Poems stamp sets! These two sets are adorable and they work perfectly together!

I stamped the typewriters onto white cardstock and colored them with pink, orange, green, and blue Copic markers. I also stamped the mice holding the paper from the Love Poems stamp set and added different sentiments on each of the papers. One of the dies included in the You're Just My Type coordinating die cuts a line in the typewriter so that you can slide the paper inside. It looks so cute, especially with those mice holding the top of the paper! I used the the new Heart Shaker Gift Tag die to cut a bunch of pink hearts to add around the images. The background is created with Distress Oxide inks and cut with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames and I added the sentiment with the Simple Wavy Banners die. Here's a close look at the card:

Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration and for a chance to win some new goodies!

Thanks so much for visiting! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Winter Wavy Sayings

Hi there! I have a fun set of Christmas tags to share with you that feature the Winter Wavy Sayings stamp set from Lawn Fawn!

I created the Christmas tags with the Build-A-House and Build-A-House Christmas Add-on dies! I used brown, green, and red cardstocks to create the house. The lights were cut from white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. For the windows, I stamped the images from the Tiny Christmas stamp set and Christmas Dreams stamp set for the tree. The images in the windows are all colored with Copic markers as well. After the houses were assembled, I added the sentiment by die cutting a Simple Wavy Banner with black cardstock and white heat embossing the sentiment. I finished the tags by using a hole punch to add a hole and tying twine at the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great evening! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Spooky Village

Good morning! It's the first day of the Lawn Fawn Release Week, yay!! This week, the design team will be sharing projects that feature the new fall and Halloween products. Everything will be available for purchase on Thursday, August 22nd, so start planning your wish list! :)

Today, I have a card to share that features the Spooky Village stamp set. These houses coordinating with the other village stamp sets, but they add a spooky twist with fun details like the boarded up window and spider webs. I really like those spooky trees, too!

I created an ink blended sky with Distress Oxides inks. I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop for the grassy hills, and also ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks. The houses, trees, ghosts, and tomb stones are all colored with Copic markers. I arranged them on the scene, attaching them with liquid glue, and also stamping a few bats in the sky. Then, I added a full moon in the sky, cut from the new Gold Rush cardstock with the Sun and Moon die, but you could also use any of the circle stackable dies. That new cardstock is a sparkly gold paper and it looks so neat as a moon! Then, I added a tree cut from black cardstock with the Leafy Tree Backdrop die and finished by adding the sentiment cut from the Simple Wavy Banners die.

Stop by the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration with this stamp set and don't forget to enter the giveaway on the LF blog! I'll be back again tomorrow to share more inspiration with you! Have a great day! :)
