Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a nice Thanksgiving weekend! We had a whole week of Thanksgiving festivities with family members, so we had a lot of fun! I even made a turkey shirt for the little one to wear! She was so cute in it!
Since it's the first Monday of the month, that means there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge!
I have to warn you - this is a hard one! It took me forever to finally think of what to do with this challenge and I'm not completely satisfied with the result, but here it is:
Eh! White on white is hard! I also smeared a snowflake on the right side, so that's a bummer too. Oh well, the next one will be better! :)
Anyways, this card features Lawn Fawn's "Cole's ABCs" dies and "Critters in the Arctic" (for the snowflakes). I die cut 3 sets of letters for the sentiment so that there was so dimension to the letters and then I attached them to a piece of vellum. Then, I stamped and embossed a bunch of white snowflakes around the sentiment. That idea was better in my head - oh well!
Well, don't forget to play along with this challenging challenge! I can't wait to see what you create. The winner will receive a $25 gift cerficiate from Simon Says Stamp! Yay! :)
Also, I will be continuing my annual 25 Days of Christmas Cards this year! Last year I was only able to make 13 cards (sorry everyone!), but I'll have 25 this year! Come back everyday leading up to Christmas to see a different card! :)
I think your card came out lovely! I totally feel you on this challenge though LOL! Not only was it a challenge coming up with an idea, but also trying to get a decent photograph lol. Looking forward to your 25 Days of Christmas Cards! :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you!! As if I didn't have enough of a hard time taking pictures! Lol!! But your card totally rocks! Love the dimension on the sentiment! And the heat embossing is totally lovely!! Such a sweet Christmas card!
