Well, Hello There with Hello Bluebird

 Hi everyone! I hope that you're week is going well so far! I have a card to share today that was featured in the Spring issue of the Scrapbook and Cards Today magazine!

This card features the Field Mice set from Hello Bluebird. How cute are those mice carrying the strawberries!? To create the background, I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn to cut the sky from Watercolor Wishes patterned paper. For the grass, I used the Grassy Hillside Border die to cut three grassy hills from the Spring Fling patterned paper. I inked the top of the grass and edges of the sky with distress oxide inks to add some dimension to the scene. I attached everything to a white card base and then arranged the images onto the scene. I finished by stamping the sentiment at the top.

Lawn Fawn Sneak Week Day 4

Hello! The Lawn Fawn sneak week continues with a look at more of the new stamp sets! All of these new products will be available on Thursday, February 20th .

I have two cards to share today that feature the new Swan Soiree stamp set. This might be my favorite set from this new release. The swans and babies are so cute!

This card also features the new Cattails Border die. It goes perfectly with the swans and would also be really cute with the frogs from the Toadally Awesome stamp set. For this card, I also used the Grassy Hillside Borders die, Woodgrain Cardstock (for the tops of the cattails), and the Leafy Tree Backdrop die for the border. 

My second card also features the swans, but in a night time scene! I like how the swans can be used in day or night time scenes and can also be used with a variety of sentiments!

For this card, I ink blended the water and sky with distress oxide inks and spritzed them to give them more detail. I used the Stitched Hillside borders to create the water and also the Bayou Backdrop die for the leaves along the top. The swans are attached with foam tape and the smaller images are attached with liquid glue.

This card is perfect to use for a wedding card! Here's a closer look at the scene:

LF Inspiration Week: Stud Puffin

Hi friends! I'm back again to share a card featuring the new Stud Puffins stamp set from Lawn Fawn! How cute are those puffins?!

I used the puffins to create this fun scene! To help create the scene, I used the Stitched Mountain Borders, Grassy Hillside Borders, and Stitched Hillside Borders cut from white cardstock and ink blended with Distress Oxide inks.

The puffins are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I also added a few rocks from the Mermaid for You and You Are Sublime stamp sets. I wanted to make the sentiment big and bold, so I stamped the first part with black ink, and cut out the puffin letters in black cardstock with Finley's ABCs die. I finished the card by adding a few hearts cut with the new Heart Shaker Gift Tag and a frame cut from the Leafy Tree Backdrop die.
