Hello! I have a few cards to share with you for the current Paper Crafts Gallery Idol Competition! The competition sounds like such a unique and fun challenge that I had to play along. I was able to make two cards to submit for the competition. Here is the first card:
To create this card, I cut various colors and styles of washi tape into 1/2 inch squares and then cut them in half to form triangles. Then, I used a ruler to help keep everything straight, and arranged the triangles on the card base to create a fun pattern. Some of the rows aren't super straight, but I still like it! I wanted the sentiment to stand out against the colorful background, so I added some black stickers from American Crafts.
The next card is just as colorful, but this time I used a bunch of stars!
This card features Lawn Fawn's "Year Two" stamp set and "Stitched Jounraling Card" die for the stars. I die cut stripes of washi tape to make a bunch of star "stickers" that I arranged onto the card base. Again, I used black ink to help make the sentiment stand out!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)
