Holly Jolly Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope that you will enjoy a day with family and friends today! Don't eat too many Christmas cookies! :)

Today's Christmas card wishes you a holly, jolly Christmas!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Winter Gifts," "Milo's ABCs," "Riley's ABCs," and "Sweet Christmas" stamp sets. I used different alphabet stamps to create this custom sentiment! And the holly leaves are coated with some glittery stickles to give it some sparkle! :)

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget the real reason for the season today. Happy Birthday, Jesus! :)

"So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and  placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." - Matthew 2:4-7

Christmas Cookies! Mmm!

Happy Christmas Eve, everyone! Do you have any Christmas eve traditions with your family? Tonight we will go to our Christmas Eve service at church and then come home to drink hot chocolate and read Christmas stories around the fireplace. I can't wait!

I have a "sweet" Christmas card to share with you today:

This card is a little bit smaller than usual and it features Lawn Fawn's "Cozy Christmas," "Sweet Christmas," and "Into the Woods" stamp sets. The milk and cookies are colored with colored pencils and attached with foam tape. They're so cute!

Enjoy your Christmas eve! Be safe if you're traveling! :)

No Place Like Home

Good morning everyone! Only two more days until Christmas! It's almost here! :)

Today's Christmas card features a custom sentiment made from a variety of stamps:

To make the sentiment, I used Lawn Fawn's "Milo's ABCs," "Winter Gifts," and "Gnome Sweet Gnome." I think it's so much fun to combine different stamp sets to make custom sentiments! The rest of the card features "Home Sweet Home" and "Making Frosty Friends." And of course I used stickles to decorate the houses, snowbank, and hearts! :)

Only two more Christmas cards left this year! Come back again tomorrow to see the next card!

Peace and Joy

Hello again! I am to share another Christmas card with you today!

I sewed a border on this card (just like yesterday's Christmas card) but you can see this one since it's on darker paper! Yay! This card feature's Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's ABCs" and "Quinn's 123s" stamp sets, as well as Quinns ABCs dies. Having the die cuts made this card so quick to make! And this would be so easy to make with different sentiments! It's also hard to tell from the picture, but the yellow background is glitter paper! It's so much fun to use!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope that you have a nice weekend! :)

12 Days of Christmas

Hello everyone! I have another Christmas card to share with you! :)

This colorful card features Lawn Fawn's "Quinn's 123s" and "Riley's ABCs" stamp sets. I stamped and cut out a bunch of different numbers, decorated them with stickles, and attached them to patterned paper. Then I stamped the sentiment below the numbers. To attach the patterned paper to the card base, I sewed a border (which you can't see at all in the picture!). Next time I will use a darker thread!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)

Uderly Sweet Christmas

Good morning everyone! Only one week left until Christmas? Are you ready? I was really prepared this year and I already have all of the gifts purchased and wrapped! Whew! :)

I have another Christmas card to share with you today - and yes, it's an animal pun! :)

Have you ever eaten at a Chick-Fil-A? It is one of my favorite places to eat! Their mascot is a cow who encourages you to eat chicken and they can never spell correctly, so that is where I got the idea for this card!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm," "Hats Off to You," "Sweet Christmas," and "Trim the Tree" stamp sets. I hand drew the "uderly" for the sentiment and I used the "Trim the Tree" dies to cut out the presents. The presents were coated with colorful stickles to give them some sparkle!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Have a Cozy Christmas Tree!

Good morning! Only 8 days left until Christmas! Yay! :)

I have two Christmas cards to share with you today! These cards are based on the card that I shared yesterday for the current Lawnscaping Challenge, but this time I used different images!

The first card features Lawn Fawn's "Sweet Christmas," and "Cozy Christmas" stamp sets. I found a small star stamp from Lawn Fawn that fits perfectly into the stars from the stitched journaling card die, but I can't remember which set it is from! I also made each of the trees from different patterned paper and added stickles to the stars!

For this second card, I used Lawn Fawn's "Cozy Christmas" stamp set. Again, I used different patterned papers and embellished each stocking with different stickle colors! They are each attached with foam tape to give it some dimension!

Do you ever use the same layout to make different cards? Using the same or similar layout can help you make cards even faster (which is great for making Christmas cards!).

Well, thanks for stopping by! Come back again tomorrow for another Christmas card! :)

"We wish..."

Hello again! Here it is - the last sheep card! I had a lot of fun thinking of sheep puns to use for Christmas cards this year and I hope whoever receives these cards enjoys the puns as much as I do! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm," "Riley's ABCs," and "Making Frosty Friends." I'm not sure why I didn't add holly to this card, but I still think it's cute! :)

Thanks for stopping by! What did you think of the sheep card set? :)

Christmas Sheep Love!

Welcome back for another Christmas card! I promised there would be more sheep cards (are you sick of them yet??), so here it is!

I can't pick which sheep card is my favorite, but this is definitely one of them! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm," "Riley's ABCs," "Winter Gifts," "Happily Ever After," and "Making Frosty Friends." I decided to add pink to the "girl" sheep's nose so that you know it's a girl! I also used a technique called mirror stamping to make the sheep face the other way.

There is only one sheep card left! Check back tomorrow to see the last card in the sheep series!

Fleece Navidad!

Happy Wednesday everyone! If you enjoyed the sheep card from yesterday, then you'll enjoy this card as well! Here is the second sheep card in the set:

Hehe! Fleece Navidad makes me laugh every time! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm," "Riley's ABCs," "Winter Gifts" and "Making Frosty Friends" (the heart) stamp sets. The sheep is colored with a grey colored pencil and the holly leaves are colored with markers. I also attached the sheep with foam tape to give it some dimension on the card!

Do you ever make punny Christmas cards or do you stick with traditional cards? If you like this card set, then come back again tomorrow for another sheep card (there are two more in the series!!). :)

Christmas Sheep!

Hello again! I am back to share another Christmas card with you today! This card is one of my favorites this year! I think animal puns are so much fun to make into cards, so this Christmas I made sheep cards! :)

Isn't he just so cute with his hat and scarf?! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters on the Farm," "Hats Off to You," "Making Frosty Friends," "Winter Gifts," and "Riley's ABCs" stamp sets. To make the sheep, I paper pieced a bunch of different layers. First I cut out the body of the sheep, then I added the scarf, then I stamped and cut out just the sheep head, and then added a hat! There is a ton of dimension to the sheep (it's hard to see in the picture).

Come back tomorrow for another Christmas sheep card! :)

13 Days of Christmas Cards!

Hello everyone! I hope that you are getting things all ready for Christmas and enjoying the holiday season! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here! This year seemed to go by so fast!

Last year, I did a little series and shared one card each day in December leading up to Christmas for a total of 25 cards! I was hoping to do that again this year, but unfortunately I ran out of time. Opps! Instead, I will share with you the few cards that I did get to make this year. :)

Here is one of the first cards that I made this year:

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Trim the Tree," (stamp and coordinating dies) and "Riley's ABCs." Everything is paper pieced on this card, and having the coordinating dies makes that so easy! I added stickles to the star and tree base, and I also added glossy accents to the lights to make them shine!

Thanks for stopping by! And stop back tomorrow to see the next Christmas card! :)

Lawnscaping #69 - Sentiment

Hello everyone! Yep, it's that time again - another Lawnscaping Challenge! Yay! :) The challenge is to create a project where the sentiment really stands out!

Here is the card that I created for this challenge:

I can't take credit for this idea though! When I was looking for inspiration for the last challenge, I found this super cute Christmas decoration that I knew would be perfect for this challenge. You can see the image here!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Riley's ABCs" (which I think is my new favorite alpha stamp set!) and "Trim the Tree" stamp sets. I stamped a smaller star inside the star on the tree and added some stickles. Since I didn't have a stamp that would work inside of the tree base, I just colored a square with a pink colored pencil and then added stickles.

This challenge is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to their store! Who doesn't like shopping!? :)

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for all of your sweet comments! They always brighten my day! :)

Lawnscaping #68 - Pinterest Inspired!

Hi everyone! It's that time again - another Lawnscaping Challenge! Yay! We have a super fun challenge for you this week - to create a card inspired by an image on Pinterest!

You can still play along even if you don't have a Pinterest account. Just find an image somewhere else online and use that as the inspiration for your project! Make sure to include the image on your blog so that we can see where you got your inspiration from!

I was a little bit intimidated by this challenge at first. There are so many pictures to choose from and I had a hard time deciding which one to use! I decided to focus on a Christmas card and I eventually found this photo to use as my inspiration:

I really liked the blue and silver for Christmas and especially how the photo made the ornaments sparkle, so I used that as my inspiration to create this Christmas card:

I used a few different blue inks, as well as silver ink, to stamp all of the snowflakes. The images are from Lawn Fawn's "Making Frosty Friends" and "Winter Gifts" stamp sets. I also added some stickles and glossy accents to the snowflakes to give the card a sparkley look. Here is a close up of the snowflakes:

I hope that you'll get a chance to play along with the challenge this week! The winner of this challenge will receive a stamp set from Lawn Fawn! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you create for the challenge! :)

25 Cards of Christmas #3

Welcome to the 3rd day of 25 Cards of Christmas!! I am so excited to share this card with you today because I think it's so cute!

I really enjoy Lawn Fawn's newest stamp set, "A Birdie Told Me." It has so many cute little speech bubbles and they go perfectly with the sentiments from "Happy Everything." (also a new set!) I also added a paper pieced santa hat from the "Hats Off to You" set!

Have you created a Christmas card recently? I would love to see it! Just leave me a comment with your blog address and I will stop by! Have a wonderful Monday! :)

25 Cards of Christmas #2

Hi everyone! Welcome to 25 Cards of Christmas #2! Here is the second Christmas card!

The sentiment and strips of paper are all from the Jolly and Bright paper pack from Recollections at Michaels. I got the paper last year, so I'm not sure if it is still being sold. After adhering everything to the card, I ran some white ink along the edge! So fun!

Well, thanks for stopping by! Today my husband and I are decorating the Christmas tree and getting all of our decorations out! Are you doing anything fun today!

Come back tomorrow for the next card! :)

25 Cards of Christmas #1

Good morning everyone! I can't believe that it is already December 1st!

This December, I decided to share 25 Christmas cards, one each day leading up until Christmas. It was a fun little challenge for myself, and now I have most of my Christmas cards already made!

Here is the first card that I wanted to share with you!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Sweet Christmas" stamp set. That set is so cute for making Christmas cards! There is the ginger bread house, plus it includes so many little stamps to decorate the house! For this card, I paper pieced the decorations onto a kraft house. The sentiment and snowflakes are also included in the set. I also added some glitter onto the snowbanks to add some sparkle! :)

I hope you like the first Christmas card! Come back tomorrow for the second card! :)

Advent Calendar

Hello! I'm back with an awesome project that I made over the weekend. I saw this project in a Paper Craft Seasonal Decor booklet and I had to make it (there are tons of other projects, too, so check it out here).

Using a dry erase board, magnetic strips, some hot glue, and my Cricut with the "Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More" cartridge I made this:

Then, by adding some glittery numbers and some Christmas stickers and embellishments, I ended up with this:

Now I have to finish filling out the little inserts to put in the tags. I have most of them filled out, but I need to do a few more. Anyways, here are some of my favorite tags:

Thanks for stopping by and looking! I hope that everyone has a good Thanksgiving, enjoy some time with family, and don't eat too much turkey! :)

P.S. Check out the challenge at the Ribbon Girl Blog!
You could win a ton of Christmas ribbon! :)
