LF Inspiration Week: Simple Stripes Diagonal, Giant Happy Birthday die

 Hi there! I'm excited to have another project to share with you for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, we are sharing cards that feature the new simple stripes dies.

For my card, I used the Simple Stripes: Diagonal die to create a set of three birthday cards. These die cut cards were quick and easy to create and can be made with any color!

I started by die cutting a piece of Cilantro, Mermaid, and Peacock cardstocks. I used liquid glue to attach the stripes to a piece of white cardstock. Since I cut three colors of cardstock, I was able to piece together three striped panels. After I created the panels, I attached them to a white card base.

Since the backgrounds were busy, I wanted to add a simple and bold sentiment, so I used the new Giant Happy Birthday die cut from the new Watercolor Wishes Rainbow paper collection. I also die cut a second sentiment from Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock and offset it with the other sentiment to help it stand out against the background. Then, I cut a few stars from the Hearts and Stars Skinny Tag die and attached them around the sentiment, along with a few clear sequins.

I can't wait to recreate this card in different colors themes!
