The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the new Delightful Daisy die set. This die set is really neat because it can cut a solid daisy image, but also can cut the outline and inside pieces of the daisy.
My gram used to make beautiful stained glass artwork, so I was inspired by her to create this slimline card today. I die cut the outline in metallic cardstock and added the inlays of the daisy from the new Watercolor Wishes Rainbow patterned paper collection. Since the paper has different shades, I was able to have a darker shade on the middle of the flower and lighter shades on the petals. I also used different shades for the stems and leaves.
I created a slimline card base from white cardstock, used the slimline dies to die cut piece of paper from the Watercolor Wishes Rainbow collection, attached it with double sided tape, and arranged the flowers on the cards. I added a sentiment from the Scripty Bubbles Sentiment set and white heat embossed part of it on black cardstock. I finished by adding a few clear sequins around the flowers.
I love how this card turned out and how it looks just like a stained glass flower!
Thanks so much for visiting today and I'll share more inspiration tomorrow! :)
