LF Inspiration Week: Village Heroes

Hi friends! Are you excited for the new Lawn Fawn release?! Hurray! Everything is available now at the Lawn Fawn store, so go check it out! This is a mini release and there will be more goodies released on June 18th.

Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the Village Heroes set. This set is perfect to use for thank you cards to the heroes in our communities! This set is also great to use for masculine cards. My vehicle loving four year old is obsessed with this set, haha!

I used the stamps to create a coordinating card set for fire fighters, police officers, and hospital workers. I started by making the frame with a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" white card stock panel and the center was cut with the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Square Stackables. I ink blended the card base with Mermaid, Cilantro, and Hippo inks and attached the frame with double sided tape. 

Then, I stamped the vehicles and buildings from the Village Heroes stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. I also added a few extra details like the trees from the Happy Village set and the potted plant from the Village Shops. The images were then attached with liquid glue and the vehicles are attached with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed the first part onto black cardstock. The hero letters were cut with the Louie's ABCs and attached with liquid glue. Here's a close up on one of the cards:
