LF Inspiration Week: Slimline Dies

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Large and Small Slimline dies!

 I used the two largest dies in each of the slimline sets to create the scene and white border along the edge of my scene. I like how you can extend the scene with the slim line dies, so I used the extra space to create a large, social distanced hello from friends, haha! I created an easy scene with some colored cardstock and attached it to the large white slimline die. I stamped and colored five cars from the new Car Critters stamp set, as well as the bears for each of the cars. I like to cut out the car window and glue the bears behind the dash, but you can also stamp them into the window without cutting it out. Once the cars were ready, I arranged them onto the scene and glued them in place.

I wanted each of the cars to say hello, so I added various speech bubbles and sentiments from a few different sets, including Super Star, Say What? Pets, A Birdie Told Me (for a speech bubble and "hey"), Really High Five, and Flirty Frames. I attached the speech bubbles with foam tape, and then also stamped a few music notes in black ink.

To create the sentiment, I white heat embossed the saying from Simply Sentiments onto black cardstock. I wanted the sentiment to be on a banner, so I used the Everyday Sentiment Banner to partial die cut part of the banner, and then moved the die to die cut the rest. That allowed me to make a bigger banner!
