LF Inspiration Week: Fox Costumes Before 'n Afters

Hello everyone! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the new Fox Costumes Before 'n Afters! These foxes work well with the interactive dies, like the Magic Picture Changer, but it also works great alone.

I started by stamping two of the foxes and chicks onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut them with the coordinating die cuts. For the sentiment, I die cut letters with Louie's ABCs from black cardstock. The rest of the sentiment is white heat embossed onto Sugarplum cardstock and die cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner. For the background, I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die to cut a piece of Sunflower Cardstock and used the Starry Sky Stencil to add a few orange stars on the background. After attaching the background to a white card base, I added the sentiment and images with foam tape.

I finished the card by adding twine along the top. It's the new Glow in the Dark cord. I wasn't able to get a good picture of it, but it looks so neat in the dark!

LF Inspiration Week: Den Sweet Den and Stitched Dens

Good morning everyone! Have you been enjoying the new products this week? Which ones are your favorite so far?

Todays stamp set is my favorite from the new release. The bears in the new Den Sweet Den set are just so cute! I like that the bear can hold items in it's hands, and the little baby bears are just so sweet! I have two cards to share today, so lets take a look!

My first card today features the bear family in their home created with the new Stitched Dens dies! I cut different colors of brown cardstock attached with foam tape to give the den lots of dimension.

The images are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The tree and rug are from the Christmas Dreams stamp set, and the lights are from the Trim the Tree set. My daughter thought the lights look so neat strung up in the den!

The background scene is stamped with a new set called Over the Mountain Borders and I added the falling snow with the new Snowy Sky stencil (we'll share more inspiration with those winter sets in October!). I finished by adding the sentiment cut with the Everyday Sentiment banner, and a stitched white frame.

I have two more clean and simple cards to share that feature the Den Sweet Den sets, and I think they turned out so sweet!

The images are all stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiments into a banner from the Bannertastic stamp set. The banner and bears are attached with foam tape, and the rest of the images are attached with liquid glue. I stamped the rest of the sentiment below the banners. These sleeping bears are so cute!

The die set also includes a die for the bear to let you put something in its hands. How cute is that?!

LF Inspiration Week: Shutter Card

 Hello again! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Shutter Card interactive die! This die creates such a fun and unique card!

You can find instructions on how to assemble the card on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel.

I used the Sage Leaf cardstock to create this Christmas card. I started by die cutting the card panel and ink blended snowflakes with the new Snowflake Trio Stencil and Yeti ink. I also ink blended the front of the card, the two panels for the middle, and the die cut that frames the sentiment. After the snowflakes dried, I used a white gel pen to add some small detail between the snowflakes.

The sentiment is heat embossed with silver embossing powder on the circle that is cut from the panel in the middle. That stitched panel is from the Shutter Card Add-On set, but it can also be created with just the Shutter Card die. I glued the sentiment in place and assembled the card. I finished by creating the card sleeve with Rainforest cardstock and added the large snowflakes from the Shutter Card Snow Globe Add-On and the smaller snowflakes from the Stitched Ornaments die set. The snowflakes are cut from the new Metallic Holographic cardstock - it's gorgeous and so shimmery!

I think this card turned out so pretty, but next time I might try a different colored sentiment to make it stand out a little bit better. Here's a closer look at the card:
