Lawn Fawn's Long Distance Hugs

Hi friends! The day is finally here - the new Lawn Fawn products are now available! Yay! A list of the new goodies are displayed below - which one is your favorite?

Lawn Fawn also has a fun stamp set, called Long Distance Hugs, available as a free gift with a $60 purchase at the Lawn Fawn store! How fun!

This sentiment set is perfect to use with any of the critters! And I like the unique sentiments that are included, like virtual, distant, and long distance. 

For my card, I stamped the sentiment in the middle of a white card panel cut with the Stitched 4-Bar Rectangle die. I added a piece of light blue cardstock behind the panel that was cut to be slightly wider and taller than the white panel.

To create the images, I inked the sides of the computer from the Screen Time stamp set, stamped it onto white cardstock, and drew in a line along the bottom to fill in the screen. I used a post it note to cover the bottom of the screen while I stamped the duck and mouse from Rub-A-Dub-Dub and Really High Five. Doesn't it look like they're trying to give a virtual hug?! I colored the critters and scenes with copic markers, and I added a few hearts around the images as well.

LF Release Week: All The Clouds

Hi friends! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new All The Clouds stamp set.

This set is great to use to help find the perfect size cloud for your project! I decided to use the different sized clouds, moon, sun, and rainbows in this set to create a Flippin' Awesome card changing from a stormy night sky to a sunny rainbow sky!

Each of my Flippin' Awesome panels are ink blended with ink and the Cloudy Stencil. I stamped and die cut a bunch of images and colored them with Copic markers. I cut the interactive element with white cardstock and assembled it with my ink blended panels. To watch instructions on how to assemble the Flippin' Awesome card, check out this YouTube video.

For the background, I die cut a piece of shimmer cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and attached it to a white card base. I also used the Flippin' Awesome Add-On to cut the scalloped paper behind the interactive element from the Really Rainbow Paper collection.

I added the "hello" along the bottom cut from black cardstock with the Magic Color Slider die. The sentiment on the last panel, was stamped in black ink with my Misti, stamped again with my embossing ink pad, and covered with clear embossing powder. I wanted it in black ink, but I wanted to make sure that the sentiment stood out on the white panel.

This card was so fun to create and even more fun to play with! I can't wait to give it to a friend! :)

LF Release Week: Stitched Rainbow and Starry Sky Stencil

Good morning, everyone! I hope that you have been enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week so far! Today, the LF design team is sharing projects that feature the Stitched Rainbow die and the Starry Sky Stencil.

My first card uses the rainbow die to create a cute and simple card. I started by lightly ink blending a sky background with the Cloudy Stencil and blue ink. I trimmed the paper to 5 1/2" by 4" so that it was the same height as my card base, but not as wide so that there was a small white border along the edge. I attached the background to a white card base, and stamped the sentiment in black ink. To create the rainbow, I die cut white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I glued the rainbow arcs to the solid rainbow included in the die set. The clouds are die cut from white cardstock and colored with a blue copic around the edge. I die cut the smiley faces into the clouds, added black cardstock behind the eyes and smile, and added rosy cheeks. The rainbow is attached with glue and the clouds are attached with foam tape. I also have a second card to share that uses the Starry Sky Stencil. I started by die cutting a piece of blue cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. I taped the cardstock to the back of the stencil and applied Gina K's white glitter paste to the stencil to create the sparkly night sky.

Once the sky had dried, I attached it a white card base. I added a brown hillside along the bottom of the scene die cut with the Simple Stitched Hillside die. I added the car and critters from the Car Critters stamp set, and trees from the Winter Skies set. The moon and clouds are from the new All The Clouds stamp set, and the sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut with the Everyday Sentiment Banner.
