LF Inspiration Week: Be Hap-pea

Hi there! I hope that you're enjoying all of the design team projects for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Today, we are sharing projects that feature the new Be Hap-pea stamp set!

For my first card today, I created a clean and simple birthday card! I lightly ink blended some pink ink in the middle of a white cardstock panel. I added the pea pod, peas, speech bubbles, and leaves which are all stamped in black ink and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is stamped and cut from Spiffy Speckles cardstock and the "birthday" is white heat embossed on black cardstock. Then, I stamped a few hearts and music notes around the images. Here is a close up on the card:

My second card might be my favorite one! I used the Cole's ABCs die cut from Raspberry cardstock to create a big, bold sentiment.

The pea pods, speech bubbles, and the welcome sentiment are all attached with foam tape. The background paper is from the Spiffy Speckles patterned paper collection. I finished the card by stamping a few hearts in Wild Rose ink.

These cards are both quick and easy to create, but they're both so cute! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration. And don't forget - all of the new products will be available tomorrow in the Lawn Fawn store! Thanks so much for visiting and for all of your sweet comments this week! Have a great day!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Oh Gnome!

Hi everyone! I hope you're excited because today is the start of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration and Release week! All of the new products will be available on Thursday, February 21st. In the mean time, the design team will be sharing lots of inspiration for you!

Today, we're sharing projects that feature the new Oh Gnome! stamp and die set!

This new set is so sweet and can be used for so many different occasions. I used it today to create a birthday card! To create this card, I started by die cutting a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die and ink blending it with Mermaid ink. Then, I used the Simple Grassy Hillsides and Stitched Garden Border to add the grass and ground. I ink blended the grass and ground with Freshly Cut Grass and Doe ink respectively. Then, I attached the scene to a white card base with double sided tape.

I stamped all of the images from this scene onto Neenah cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. Then, I used the coordinating die cuts to cut the images and arranged them on the scene. The images are attached with either foam tape or liquid glue.

After that, I stamped the sentiment at the top in black ink and added a few hearts stamped in Wild Rose ink. I think it's so cute that you can stack the presents in the wheel barrel to look like someone is getting a ton of gifts for their birthday!

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration! I'll be back again tomorrow with another card to share with you! Have a great day! :)

Christmas Letterpress Card

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week so far!

I have a fun card to share with you today for Taheerah's Advant Calendar Extravaganza! You can find out more information about the Advant blog hop on the Lawn Fawn blog!

I created this fun set of Christmas Letterpress cards! I saw this technique a while ago from Jennifer McGuire and I just had to try it out!

For this card, I used Lawn Fawn's Scripty Merry die, the Large Wreath die, Wild Rose and Freshly Cut Grass ink, white embossing powder, and the Christmas sentiment from the Cheery Christmas set. The letterpress technique gives this really neat inked impression on the card! Here is a close up on the card:

I also have a video to show you how to recreate this card! You can watch the video below or on the Whimsipost YouTube channel.

Thanks so much for watching and I hope it has inspired you to try this fun technique! Thanks and have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Lacy Borders and Lacy Heart Stackables

Hello again! Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at two new die sets!

My first card features the new Lacy Borders die which includes three different borders.

To create this card, I inked white cardstock in a variety of colors - Ballet Slipper, Minty Fresh, Mermaid, Fresh Lavender, and two new colors, Peach Fuzz and Lemonade! Then, I used the border die to cut strips of paper to stack on the card base.

I also added some Hearts that were inked with Wild Rose ink and I attached a few sequins to the lacy detail. The sentiment is a new line border die and it was perfect to add to the top of the layers. Here's a close up on the card:

My second card features the new Lacy Heart Stackables! The hearts are cut from Ballet Slippper, Raspberry, and Chili Pepper cardstock. I also used the Scripty Love die and cut it from gold glitter cardstock to add as the sentiment.

I finished by adding a few enamel dots for some extra detail. Here's a close up:

LF Inspiration Week: How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-On

Good morning! I hope you're having a good weekend so far! Today is a special day at our house because this is the day that my husband and I started dating, the day that we got engaged, and the day that our daughter was born! And one of our traditions is to watch "It's A Wonderful Life" every December 10th, so it's a busy day at our house, haha!

Anyways, the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the new How You Bean Conversation Heart Add-On set! They look just like the candy conversation hearts!

I used the solid heart stamp and the little conversation messages to create a patterned paper for my card! The hearts are stamped in LF inks - Ballet Slippers, Minty Fresh, Fresh Lavender, and the new colors Lemonade and Peach Fuzz! The messages are stamped in Wild Rose ink.

I also used a new heart stackable die cut from vellem to frame the sentiment. I die cut the Scripty Be and Scripty Mine from Black Licorice cardstock and coated it with glossy accents for some shine! Here's a close up of the card:

Thanks for stopping by! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for lots of cute cards from the rest of the design team! :)

I Look Up to You, Dad

*If you are looking for my Lawnscaping post, continue scrolling or click here.

Hello again! I'm so excited to be sharing a card on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning! Father's Day is coming up soon, so here is a cute Father's Day card!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Yay, Kites" stamp and dies, "Mom & Me" for the sentiment, "Clark's ABCs," "Hats Off to You," "Baaah Humbug," "Puffy Cloud Border" die, some Lawn Fawn patterned paper, and Wild rose and Mermaid inks. I started by masking a rectangle onto my card base. Then, I die cut a puffy cloud border to use as a mask for inking my background. The Mermaid ink is perfect to use in the sky! I stamped and die cut the images from patterned paper and attached everything with foam tape. I stamped the hearts in the Wildrose ink, and finished by stamping the sentiment in black ink. Here is a close up on the kites:

I think they're just so cute with their smiling faces! And I really like how the background clouds turned out!

Thanks for stopping by, and thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing my card this morning! I hope everyone has a great day! :)

Lawnscaping #131 - Off Kilter

Good morning everyone! I'm so excited to be back! It's really hard to find time to craft with two kiddos now, but I'm so glad that I was able to make a card for the new Lawnscaping Challenge!

The theme for this challenge is off kilter - to use at least one element on an angle. I decided to make a cute little scene and I attached it to my card at an angle with washi tape!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Critters Down Under," "Stitched Journaling Card," "Simple Stitched Hillside Border," "Chit Chat" stamp and die, and various inks - Wild Rose, Mermaid, Merman, Doe, and Freshly Cut Grass. This card makes me smile and I can't wait to send it to a friend for her birthday! Here is a close up on the scene:

The sponsor for this challenge is Ellen Hutson, and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate! I hope that you're able to play along, and I can't wait to see what you create! :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)

Love Love Love

Hello again! I'm back again to share a card that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning!

I wanted to make something colorful and cute for Valentine's Day! This card features Lawn Fawn's large and small "Stitched Square Stackables" dies, "Scripty Love" die, and a few Lawn Fawn inks - Mermaid, Wild Rose, and Sunflower

I started by die cutting the love three times from white card stock. I then used the Lawn Fawn inks to color the die cuts, starting at the bottom and making it a little bit lighter at the top. I attached the die cuts to the card base with glue.

I also used the square dies to create a border and attached it with foam tape. I finished the card by stamping a few hearts around the sentiment in the coordinating inks. Here is a close up on the card:

Thanks for stopping by! And thank you, Kelly, for sharing this card on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning! :)

Lawnscaping #123 - Sending Love

Good morning! I hope that you had a great weekend! We were able to spend some time outside yesterday because it was about 55 degrees! That's a heat wave for central PA in January! The rest of this week is suppose to be fairly nice as well! I feel like we're getting spoiled with this nice weather!

Anyways, it's the first Monday in February, which means it's time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This challenge is to use hearts or love sentiments on your projects, so this is the card that I created:

I haven't used that airplane set in such a long time! This card features Lawn Fawn's "Bon Voyage" and "Riley's ABCs" stamp set, "Heart," "Scripty Love" and "Puffy Cloud Borders" dies. I also used Wild Rose ink and patterned paper from the Beachside petite paper pack.

Here is a close up on the card:

I hope that you're able to play along with the challenge this week! The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! :)

Cheesy Pizza Card

Hi everyone! Did anyone get impacted by the snow storm this weekend? We live in central PA, so it wasn't too bad for us, but we still got a few inches. Nearby towns received about 2 feet of snow, and I know that even further south received a lot more! My daughter (she's two) had a blast playing in the snow over the weekend!

Anyways, I have a card to share with you that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Pizza My Heart" stamp and die, "A Birdie Told Me" stamp and die, Wildrose ink, and yellow Lawn Trimmings. This pizza set cracks me up! After I made this card, I realized I should have made the sentiment say, "This may sound cheesy, but you have a pizza my heart!" Next time!

The images are colored with Prismacolor pencils. My favorite part of this stamp set is the smiley faces for the pizza! And if the piece of pizza is smiling, then it has to have a speech bubble!

Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing this card on the LF Blog this morning!! :)

Love Ya Watts & Watts

Good morning! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend! My daughter and I are getting over a cold so we spent most the weekend on the couch with tissues and movies. Hopefully our colds will go away soon!

This morning, I have a card to share with you that is being featured on the Lawn Fawn blog this morning!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Turn Me On" stamp and die, as well as "Flirty Frames" stamp set (for the love ya), "Riley's ABCs," "Wild Rose" ink, and Sweetheart Lawn Trimmings. My husband used to tell me a joke about light bulbs, and I have no idea what the joke was, but the punchline was "love ya watts and watts," so I knew that would make a great card with this light bulb set!

This is also my first card that I have used Copic markers on! I bought a few yellow Copics to practice coloring with and to see if I liked them, and I am definitely hooked! I can't wait to get some more colors. Any suggestions on which colors I should get next? Anyways, here is a close up on the card:

Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you Kelly Marie for featuring this card on the Lawn Fawn blog!! Did you see the new products that Lawn Fawn will be releasing in February?! Every thing is so cute and I can't wait for everything to be available! Yay!

Thanks again and I hope you have a great day! :)

Birthday Balloons!

Hello! Merry Christmas Eve! I have a cute birthday card to share with you that features Sunny Studio Stamp's "Birthday Smiles" stamp set! This is one of my favorite sets, so I wanted to use those big balloons to make a colorful birthday card!

I stamped the balloons in Lawn Fawn's "Wild Rose," and "Mermaid" inks, and Hero Arts "Butter Bar" ink. I added a few small hearts around the balloons with some grey ink, and stamped the sentiment in black. The sentiment is actually a combination of two sentiments included in this set! I finished the card by adding some colorful Lawn Trimmings to the top! Here is a close up on the balloons:

They look so neat with the overlapping colors! I also used a white gel pen to add some details to the balloons!

Well, thanks for stopping by! We have our candlelight Christmas eve service at church tonight! Tomorrow we'll be traveling all over PA visiting family and friends! It's such a busy, but wonderful time of the year! :)

Lawnscaping #118 - In With the Old

Good morning! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge!

This weeks challenge is about using a product that hasn't been used for a while. I decided to use Lawn Fawn's "Hello Sunshine" and "Good Fortune" stamp sets.

I kept this card very clean and simple, and stamped everything onto the card base. I also used Fish Tank, Mermaid, and Wild Rose ink pads. After I stamped the clouds, I added a few dots along the edge for some details.

I hope that you're able to play along because the winner will receive a free stamp set from Lawn Fawn!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a great week! :)
