Sunny Studio Cards!!

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a nice week! I can't believe that it is going to be November tomorrow! This year seemed to go by so fast!

I have a lot of cards to share with you today! I am so thankful to be a part of the Sunny Studio Design Team, so I have a bunch of cards to share that have been featured on the Sunny Studio blog!

This first card features the School Time stamp set. I used a bunch of the images to decorate around the piece of paper, and I really like how this card turned out! I also made this card a little bit smaller so that I can stick it in my husbands lunch box! :)

This next card also features one of my new favorite stamp sets - the Birthday Smiles set! I stamped and cut a bunch of banners from patterned paper to make this cute birthday card!

This card features the Harvest Happiness stamp set and coordinating dies. Again, I used patterned paper to cut out the pumpkin and a ton of leaves! I also used some inks to create the background scene (I'm not the best at using inks, but I'm working on it!) :)

These tags feature the Furever Friends stamp set and coordinating dies to create some gift tags! These kitties are so cute!

I also created a birthday tag that features the Fishtail Banner Dies, as well as the Birthday Smiles set. The banner dies are great for adding details to the edge of projects!

Well, I hope that you like these cards with the Sunny Studio products! Check out the Sunny Studio shop to see the rest of these stamp sets and some other really cute sets! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend! :)

Lawnscaping #116 - Too Cute to Spook

Hi again! Sorry that my blog has been neglected for a really long time! I have been feeling under the weather lately, but I'm finally starting to feel better - yay! And it's perfect timing since there is a new Lawnscaping Challenge today!

The current challenge is to create a fun and not spooky Halloween project. Here is the card that I created:

That scarecrow is so cute that he doesn't even scare the crows away! :) This card features Lawn Fawn's "Happy Harvest" stamp and dies, "Bannerific" stamp set, Scalloped Rectangle Stackables, and patterned paper from Pint-Sized Patterns Beachside and Let's Polka, Mom Amie.  The images are all colored with Prismacolor pencils and attached to the card with foam tape. Here is a close up on the images:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you're able to play along with this challenge because the winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn! :)

Thanks again and have a great day! :)

Sunny Studio Blog Hop!

Good morning!! I am so excited to be a part of the Sunny Studio Blog Hop this morning! You should have come here from Teri Anderson's blog! I can't wait to see what Teri has created - her cards are always adorable!

I was so excited when Mendi asked me to be a part of this blog hop to showcase some of the new products that are available today in the Sunny Studio shop! The products are all so cute and I can't wait to see what everyone creates with them!

The first card that I have to share today features "Birthday Smiles." I used the ice cream stamp to make a super tall ice cream cone! (Yummy!) I used a bunch of patterned paper to give it some color and fun!

My second card features the stamp set "Happy Home." This set has so many cute houses and is perfect for new home cards! I stamped all of the images onto the card base and colored the images with Prismacolor pencils.

The next stop in the blog hop is Marion Vagg's blog! I can't wait to see what she creates! Here is the order of the blog hop in case you get lost along the way:

As part of the grand opening celebration, Mendi is giving away stamp sets to three lucky winners, offering a free digital stamp download, AND is offering free shipping for all orders over $35 in the Sunny Studio Online Store! That is so generous of Mendi and I know that you'll find something cute in the shop! :) To enter to win the free stamp sets, comment on the rafflecopter on the Sunny Studio Blog!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you enjoy the blog hop!! :)

Nursery Banners

Hi everyone!! I hope that you had a good weekend! The schools in our area start this week, which means my husband has to go back to school - boo! It's been so nice to have him home this summer!

This morning, I have a fun project to share with you that is featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog! My sister-in-law is due in September, so I made this banner for one of her baby showers and for her to hang in the nursery when baby Emma gets here!

Her nursery theme is hot air balloons, so Lawn Fawn's "Blue Skies" stamp and dies were perfect for this banner! Here is a close up on the banner:

The banner also features "Stitched Party Banners," "Puffy Cloud Borders," "Finley's ABCs" and "Hearts" dies. I also used patterned paper from the "Let's Polka" collection for the hot air balloons.

I also made a second banner to decorate the nursery with. I used the "Hearts" and "Blue Skies" dies to cut out quite a few images from card stock and patterned paper. Then, I used my sewing machine to sew all of the images together. The banner is so cute in person! I might try this again with some different images!

Well, thanks for stopping by, and thank you Kelly Marie for sharing these banners on the Lawn Fawn Blog! Have a good day! :)

Lawnscaping #112 - Embossing

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a good weekend! It's time again for a new Lawnscaping Challenge! :)

The challenge this week is to create a card or project with embossing - either heat, dry, texture paste, or anything else! I decided to do some dry embossing with my Lawn Fawn dies!

I created the background by using Lawn Fawn's "Puffy Cloud Borders" die and dry embossed with my Big Shot. Then, I cut out the panel with the "Stitched Square Stackables" and inked the panel with the Mermaid ink. I think it looks a lot better in person (this photo didn't turn out very well - oh well, next time!). Then, I added the sentiment and hearts by using some pink patterned paper and "Finley's ABCs," "Hearts" dies, and "Fintastic Friends" and "Let's BBQ" stamp sets (for the "is in the").

I hope that you're able to play along because the winner will receive a free stamp set of their choice from Lawn Fawn! :)

Thanks again for stopping by, and have a great day! :)

Oreo Truffle Tags!

Hi there! Did you do anything fun this weekend? We went to a wedding for some church friends of ours, and we had a blast! The wedding was beautiful and we are so excited for the two of them! The rest of the weekend, we recovered from the busyness of the wedding. It was so cute to watch my 18 month old dancing at the wedding - she had so much fun!

Anyways, I have some thank you tags to share with you that are being featured on the Lawn Fawn Blog this morning! This first tag was made for the favor at my sister-in-law's baby shower!

And this tag was for a bridal shower at my church!

These tags were so easy and quick to make, and they looked so cute with the oreo truffles! These tags feature Lawn Fawn's "Tag, You're It" dies, "Happy Wedding" stamp and die, "Blue Skies" (for the bridal shower thanks), "Plus One" stamp and die, and one of the bonus stamps that are included in the Lawn Fawn orders (for the baby shower thanks).  To make the tags, I die cut a bunch of tags from pink or blue paper, and then stamped the sentiment onto the tags. Then, I stamped, colored, and die cut all of the storks and love birds from white card stock, and attached them with foam tape. Super easy, and super cute! :)

Thanks for stopping by, and thank you, Kelly Marie, for sharing these tags on the Lawn Fawn Blog! I hope that you have a great week! :)

Lawnscaping #111 - Back to School

Happy Monday! I can't believe that the beginning of school is just a few weeks away! The schools in our area don't start until September 1st, but that is going to be here before we know it! So, the new Lawnscaping Challenge is all about back to school!

Here is the card that I made for this challenge, and also for my husband when he starts school in September! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Fintastic Friends" stamp and die, "Bannerific," "Riley's ABCs," and "Making Frosty Friends" (for the "you're a"), and patterned paper from Pint-sized Patterns Beachside. I stamped, die cut, and colored the fish and banner, and attached them to the card stock with foam tape. Then, I stamped the "fintastic" in the banner, and the sentiment above and below the banner. I mounted the white card stock on patterned paper from the Beachside collection. I'm sure that this card will brighten my husband's day on his first day of school! :)

Ellen Hutson is sponsoring this challenge and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to their shop! I hope that you can play along!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! :)
