Giveaway!

Hello everyone! Well, today is a special day - it's my birthday! And I wanted to do something fun today, so I have organized a little giveaway! Here is a picture of some of the items in my giveaway bin. There are mostly stamps and some small ink pads, and I might even find some other items to include.

To enter, be a follower of the blog and just leave a comment telling how you enjoy celebrating your birthday! The giveaway will be open until Sunday, June 2nd at 11:59 EST and I will choose a random winner on Monday, June 3rd!

I hope that you have a great day! I'm going to play with some of my birthday gifts! :)

Congrats!

Good morning everyone! I hope that you enjoyed your Memorial Day weekend! We enjoyed the long weekend by camping with family - it was a lot of fun!

Anyways, I am here to share a card with you for the current Lawnscaping Challenge - clean and simple! I had to play along with this challenge because clean and simple cards are my favorite!!

For this card, I stamped images from Lawn Fawn's "Home Sweet Home" stamp set and then colored the images with colored pencils. Colored pencils give a nice, soft look to the images.

Well, have a nice day! Don't forget to play along with the Lawnscaping Challenge - there are just a few hours left! And stop back here tomorrow - there might just be a giveaway! :)

Hello again!

Wow! So, it has been a very long while since I posted to my blog! A few weeks ago I got sick and it has thrown me into a horrible crafting rut! Not fun. I am hoping that my inspiration will come back soon!

If you haven't seen, Lawnscaping is having a design team call challenge! Lawn Fawn products are my favorite and Lawnscaping is my favorite challenge blog! Being a part of the design team would be awesome!!

Here is a card that I have to share with you for the design team challenge!

This card feature's "Critters in the Sea," "Quinn's ABCs," and "Smitty's ABCs." I misted some white ink onto the patterned paper background before adhering the sentiment, whale and hearts. I think this card sums up my card making style pretty well. I like cute little scenes with lots of small accents and definitely puns! :)

Good luck with everyone who applies for the Lawnscaping design team. Don't forget to enter! :)

Flowery Thanks!

Hi everyone!! I hope that you're having a great weekend so far. Are you doing anything fun? My husband and I had some family photos taken this morning at a park, enjoyed some ice cream and went shopping! I would say that it was a great day overall! :)

I am back again with another card for the current 7 or less Challenge!

The optional theme for this challenge is to create a thank you card using 7 or less products. Here is the card that I created:

This card includes white card stock for the base, patterned paper for the background, a tag sticker, some alphabet stickers, and twine! That makes 5 products (assuming that the alphabet stickers only count as one product!) These products are all from Lawn Fawn's "Pink Lemonade" collection kit.

There are still quite a few days left in this challenge, so don't forget to play along!

I hope that you have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by! :)

You will have a happy birthday!

Hello! I hope that the weather is starting to feel like spring where you are! Today it was in the 70s and it was wonderful! I wanted to stay outside all day! :)

I have a birthday card that I made recently that I wanted to share.

When you pull on the fortunes, this is what they say:

I was surprised at how easy it was to make a moving card! I made a small slit behind the cookies and slid the fortunes behind the patterned paper. I added a little piece of extra paper to the end so that you can't pull the fortunes out the whole way. These images are all from Lawn Fawn's "Good Fortune" stamp and die set, and the patterned paper is from October Afternoon's "9 to 5" collection.

Have you ever made a moving or sliding card? Thanks for stopping by! :)

Cheer Up!

Good morning! I am back again to share another card with you! This card is for the current CASology Challenge!

The CASology challenges are one of my favorites, but I never have enough time to play along. So, I am very glad that I was able to get a chance to make a card for this week's challenge. Here is the card that I created:

Yep, I was inspired by the Pixar movie "Up." It is such a sweet movie! I thought that the bright colors would make a perfect "cheer up" card! The house, cheer, and letters are from Lawn Fawn's "Home Sweet Home," "Happily Ever After," and "Quinn's ABCs" stamp sets, respectively. The balloons are from Paper Smooches "Hullabaloo" stamp set. To create the blue background, I masked off the edges of the card, and used a pearlized accent spray. I really like how the background turned out!

Well, thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)

Many Thanks

Hi everyone! I am so happy today because spring is soo close!! It was gorgeous outside today! It was still a little bit chilly, but it was so sunny and the birds were singing! The temperature is suppose to be nice this week, so I can't wait! :)

I have a card to share with you today for the current 10 Minute Craft Dash! The challenge is to create a card based on these three colors:

Here is the card that I created based on the color challenge:

This card took 8 minutes and 4 seconds to create. This card features patterned paper from Pebble's "Sunnyside" collection and October Afternoons' "9 to 5" collection. There are some enamel dots from My Mind's Eye as well as white ribbon. The banner and sentiment are both from Lawn Fawn's "Home Sweet Home" stamp set. If you include the black ink that was used for the sentiment, then there were six different products used for this card. That means that I am also entering this card into Marie's 7 or Less Challenge!

Both of these challenges are a lot of fun to play along with, so don't forget to give it a try! It makes it challenging to keep track of the time and how many products you are using on your card!

Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend? I hope that the weather is starting to warm up in your area and that you have a nice weekend! Thanks for stopping by! :)
