LF Inspiration Week: Oliver's Stitched ABC's

Good morning! Did you order any goodies from the new release yesterday? Which products are your favorite?

The Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects today that feature the Oliver's Stitched ABCs die. If you've followed my blog before, you know how much I like creating custom sentiments with alphabet dies. So, I was so excited to see a new alphabet die! And this one is so fun!

I decided to use the alphabet die to create a bunch of hellos for a card. I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and attaching it to a white card base. I used a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended a diagonal rainbow with distress oxide inks. Then, I went to town and die cut a whole bunch of hellos. I used a ruler to line up the middle hello and attach it with foam tape. And then I lined up the rest of the hellos. To finish, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments set, cut it into rectangles, and attached it on top of the hellos with foam tape. There's a lot of foam tape on this card! Here's a closer look at all of the dimension:

This card turned out so fun! To see a video on how to create this card, check out the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Enjoy your weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a great day so far! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the new Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments stamp set and new Reveal Wheel add-ons frames!

I really like to make the critters and images look like they are talking by adding speech bubbles, so for my card, I used the Reveal Wheel Circle Add-On Frame: Balloon and Speech Bubble die.

I also used the Reveal Wheel Square Add-On to make a square card, and the Reveal Wheel die to cut out the reveal wheel pieces. If you need help assembling the reveal wheel, check out the Reveal Wheel intro video on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel. I also used the Reveal Wheel Templates: Circle Sentiments to make sure that the sentiment is lined up perfectly.

For the rest of the card, I used the Stitched Speech Bubble Backdrop to create the background and I ink blended it with distress oxide inks.  I added a boy and girl robot from the Charge Me Up stamp set and gave them googly eyes, because everything is cuter with googly eyes! I also added a few hearts along the top. The sentiment is part of the Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments set and it is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner.

Below is a collage of the reveal wheel as it spins. The card says "I love you" over and over again! How cute is that?!

There is a lot more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Magic Iris

Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! Do you have anything fun planned for today? My youngest daughter is my Valentine's Day baby and she turned one today! How is she one already!? She is such a sweetheart, so today we'll celebrate her and her birthday! :)

The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues and today we are featuring the new Magic Iris die. This die creates the most amazing cards!! And they're easy to assemble once you watch the video (you can find the video on how to create a Magic Iris card on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel).

I like to hid the Magic Iris mechanism by using the Magic Iris Add-On die. I think it makes it more of a surprise for the recipient! I used the add-on die to die cut the background paper from Hello Sunshine Remix paper. I was looking through my Lawn Fawn products, and I found that the Stitched Flower Frame fit almost perfectly over the Magic Iris hole! Lawn Fawn is so good at coordinating their items!

The flower, leaves, and hearts are all cut from the new Shimmer cardstock - it's so pretty! After I had all of the images die cut, I started assembling the card. I attached the Magic Iris die and the patterned paper to a white card base. Then, I attached the flower, leaves, and hearts with liquid glue. The sentiment inside the flower is stamped from the new Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments stamp set.

Then, when you start to reveal the card...

... it reveals a smile inside! How cute is that?! The smiley face is part of the Outside In Stitched Flower die and is die cut from the Shimmer cardstock as well. It is attached with liquid glue onto the card base.

Here's a look at what the cards look like before and after the Magic Iris is turned. This would definitely brighten someones day!

Here's also a look at the card during different times of the Magic Iris turning. Lawn Fawn always creates the most unique and amazing products!

The design team created so many amazing cards with this new product, so check it out on the Lawn Fawn blog! I hope you're enjoying the inspiration this week and I'll be back again tomorrow to share another card with you! Have a great day!! :)

Lawn Fawn Sneak Week Day 1

Hi friends! I'm so excited to share cards this week that feature new Lawn Fawn goodies! These new products are being shared at Creativation and will be available for purchase Thursday, February 20th.

There are a lot of cute stamp sets that are being shared on the Lawn Fawn blog today, so definitely check it out! I'm sharing a card today that features the new A Bug Deal stamp and die set!

How cute are those little bugs?! The rolly pollies are my favorite and I have a feeling I will be using those tree branches and leaves a lot! I ink blended the background with Mermaid ink and used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies for the detail around the edge. The image are all colored with Copic markers and attached with glue or foam tape. The sentiment comes from another new stamp set - Reveal Wheel Circle Sentiments

I'll be back again tomorrow with another new card to share! Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day! :)
