Hi there! I hope you have enjoyed all of the inspiration from this week. I have another card to share that features the new Ladybug and Leaf die from Lawn Fawn! This card was created with mostly die cuts and a variety of patterned paper!
I started by die cutting six solid leaves and outlines in white cardstock. I attached the white outlines with liquid glue. Then, I used a bunch of patterned paper scraps to die cut leaves and inlaid them in the outlines. It was fun to arranged the patterns on each of the leaves! After the leaves were finished, I added Spiffy Speckles patterned paper to a white cardstock, arranged the leaves on the card, and trimmed off the edges of the leaves.
Once the background was finished, I started working on the sentiment. I used Riley's ABCs to white heat emboss the "we" and "in you" sentiments onto black cardstock, and then cut them out with my scissors. Then, I used the Finley's ABCs die to cut the letters for "be leaf" from black cardstock. I cut three of each letter and glued them together to add extra dimension to the letters. I arranged the sentiment on the card and attached them with foam tape and liquid glue. I also created two ladybugs with white, black, and pink stripped cardstock and attached them with foam tape.
This card was so fun to create and the punny sentiment is perfect to send as an encouraging card to a friend.
