Hi there! I hope you're all enjoying the Lawn Fawn Inspiration week so far! Today, we're sharing projects that feature the Outside In Stitched Mug and Stitched Mug Frame dies.
I created a a card set that can be used for Christmas or thinking of you cards.
I started by die cutting the background paper with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and a piece of Let It Shine patterned paper. I attached the paper to a white card base with double sided tape.
Next, I die cut the mugs from patterned paper. I used some older Christmas paper, but you can make the mugs any color you'd like! I also lightly ink blended the edges of the mugs with a coordinating ink to give them a little bit of dimension. I die cut a tea bag, marshmallows, and hearts as well. I realized after I created this card that marshmallow don't usually go in tea, but I found out that it's actually quite popular. Who knew?!
I attached the mugs, tea bag, hearts and marshmallows to the card with glue and double sided tape. Then, I started working on the sentiment.
The sentiment was created by die cut the letters from Autumn Sparkle Cardstock and Louie's ABCs alphabet dies. I also die cut two sets of letters from black cardstock to glue behind the glitter letters to give them some extra dimension. The "sending" is from the Thanks Thanks Thanks stamp set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock.
I love how these cards came out and I can't wait to recreate them in a variety of colors and sentiments.
