Christmas with Technique Tuesday

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas this year with your family and friends.

These cards feature the Nativity Silhouette stamp set from Technique Tuesday. These images look so pretty against an ink blended background.

 

I love the way this ink blended scene turned out with manger and baby Jesus.

Jesus is the reason for the season!

Fawny Summer Week

 Hi friends! I hope that you're having a great summer so far! The Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects this week for the Fawny Summer Week!

I wanted my card to be colorful and bright, so I used the Magic Iris Tropical Leaves Add-On and ink blended the leaves with distress oxide inks. Some of the extra leaves and flowers around the wreath are popped up with foam tape, and some are tucked behind the wreath. Before attaching the wreath, I added a piece of patterned paper cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and attached to a white card base.

After attaching the wreath, I die cut a Scripty Hello sentiment from white shimmer paper and attached it with foam tape in the middle of the wreath. It pops against the colorful wreath! To finish the card, I added a few clear sequins around the wreath.

LF Inspiration Week: I Like Naps

Hey there! I have a card to share that features the I Like Naps stamp set from Lawn Fawn! Isn't that sleeping sloth so cute?!

I started by stamping, coloring, and die cutting all of the images for the card. I added a few branches, leaves, and flowers from the Toucan Do It stamp set to help fill out the scene. Once the images were all ready, I started working on the scene.

I cut a piece of white cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and then die cut an oval in the middle. I used the oval die from the Giant Birthday Messages stamp set, but you could use any oval or shaped die in your collection. Next, I glued blue patterned paper to the back of the oval and attached then attached the cardstock panel to a white card base. 

I started to arranged the images in the scene and I made sure to tuck some of the branches and leaves behind the oval. To give the scene some dimension, I attached some of the items with glue and others with foam tape. To finish, I stamped the "zzzz...." above the sleeping sloth and attached a sentiment that was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and die cut with the Everyday Sentiment Banner.

LF Inspiration Week: Tropical Leaves Background Stencils

Hi there! I'm sharing inspiration today that features the Tropical Leaves Background stencils from Lawn Fawn! The tropical leaves stencils create such a fun background that is perfect for the critters in the Toucan Do It stamp set.

I started this card by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. I used the stencil set to ink blend the leaves to the paper with a variety of green inks. Then, I ink blended along the edges with green ink to make it stand out against the white card base.

The sentiment was created with the Louie's ABC's die and black cardstock. Then, I arranged the images around the sentiments and attached them with foam tape. My favorite critters is that toucan sitting on top of the "l."
