LF Inspiration Week: Year Eleven and Year Twelve

Hi everyone! I'm back again today to share two birthday cards with you all. 

My first card features the Year Eleven stamps set from Lawn Fawn.

I started by creating a galaxy background by ink blending distress oxide inks. I misted the background with water and also splattered white paint to make it look like stars in the sky. I stamped, colored, and die cut the planet and stars, and also added images from the Scootin' By set. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and attached with foam tape.

My second card uses the Year Twelve stamp set. Isn't that parrot so cute?!

This card also features the Henry's ABCs alphabet die cut from textured dot cardstock, Flower Market paper for the background, images from the Scootin' By and Elphie Selfie stamp sets, and the sentiment banner from Bannertastic.

LF Inspiration Week: Tiny Gift Box Goat & Llama

 Hi there! Today's Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week post is focused on the Tiny Gift Box Goat and Llama die set I used the die set to create a llama box!

I used the Tiny Gift Box die cut from Fog cardstock and assembled the box with double sided tape. Then, I die cut the face, body, legs, and other accessories and added them to the box. In order to die cut a longer neck, I used a partial die cut technique.

First, I partially die cut the top part of the llama face. When I run this through the die cut machine, it will only cut to the bottom of the top plate.

Then, I turned the paper around and partially die cut the bottom part of the llama.

The sides didn't connect, so I used my scissors to cut the sides of the llama.

Then, I finished assembling the llama by adding the face, fluffy hair, die cutting the legs, and adding a red heart.

These would be so cute to create for a party or to give to friends with little chocolate or candies inside.

LF Inspiration Week: Outside In Stitched Strawberry

 Hi friends! It's the first day of the Lawn Fawn inspiration week! The design team is sharing tons of inspiration this week and, of course, there is a giveaway. Make sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog each day to enter the giveaways.

Today, we are sharing projects that use the Outside In Stitched Strawberry die. I used the strawberry die to create a mini shaped card set. Aren't shaped cards so cute?!

To make the shaped card, I folded a piece of white cardstock. Then, I placed the die along the folded side of the cardstock and I made sure to have the top of the strawberry die slightly hang over the top of the fold. I secured it in place with a piece of washi tape and ran it through the die cut machine. 

Using pink and green cardstock, I die cut the strawberries and leaves. I lightly ink blended the edges of the images before attaching them to the white card base. The sentiments were created with the Scripty Bubble Sentiments and Berry Special stamp sets. I finished the cards by adding a few black jewels to make it look like the strawberry seeds.
