LF Inspiration Week: Virtual Friends and Tiny Friends

Hello everyone! Are you having a good weekend? We enjoyed a visiting with family this weekend and we're planning to play in the snow later today!

The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at two new stamp sets - Virtual Friends and Tiny Friends!

For my first card, I used the computer and desk from the Virtual Friends set to create a video chat with the grandparents from the Tiny Friends set. My kids have had a bunch of video chats with their grandparents this year and they always love being able to see them! To help create the scene, I used the new Pastel Texture Dot Cardstock, woodgrain cardstock, and white cardstock cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die to create a floor and wallpaper. I added the desk, placed the computer on top, and added a plant from the Simply Celebrate Summer stamp set.

Then, I stamped and die cut the speech bubbles from the Hay There and Bug Deal stamp sets. The sentiments inside of the speech bubbles are from the Special Delivery and Really High Five sets. I also added the hearts from the Swan Soiree and RAWR stamp sets.

For the sentiment, I stamped, colored, and die cut the "hugs" from the new Scripty Bubbles Sentiment. I also white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment from the Virtual Friends set onto black cardstock, cut it out, and attached it with foam tape.

My second card uses some of the kids in the Tiny Friends set to make a thank you card that would be perfect for a teacher!

To create the scene, I used Mermaid and Cilantro cardstock cut with the Stitched Hillside Border die and attached it to a white cardstock. I also created a road with Sunflower and Storm Cloud cardstock cut with the Road Border. I added the children along the bottom with foam tape and also added images from the Happy Village and Village Heroes stamp sets. To finish the card, I added the "thanks" from the Big Scripty Words by white heat embossing it onto black cardstock, and also stamped the rest of the sentiment from Simply Sentiments.
