LF Inspiration Week: Glitter and Embossing Powder

Hi everyone! It's the last day of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week, and today we are featuring the glitter and embossing powders!

The snowy background is white embossed with the Snowy Backdrops set. The trees are cut from the Birch Trees die from white cardstock and are lightly ink blended with grey ink. For the snowy hills, I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop dies cut from white cardstock, and I used a little bit of glue along the hills to attach the Prisma glitter. The snowmen are from the Making Frosty Friends set, and the sentiment from Snowy Backdrops is heat embossed with Gold Embossing powder on vellum. Here's a close up on the card to show you how pretty and sparkly the sentiment and glitter are:

Thanks so much for visiting my blog this week! I hope that you have enjoyed the projects and thank you for all of the sweet comments! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Outside In Stitched Scalloped Stackables

Good morning! I hope that you have enjoyed the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week so far!

Today I am sharing a project that features the Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies. I die cut a piece of white cardstock and folded it in half to make Thanksgiving place cards!

I added critters and food from the Forest Feast set, and added the sentiment from the Happy Happy Happy Add-on set stamped in Cranberry and Pumpkin Spice inks.

Since the cards are folded in half, there's room on the other side to add a name to the place cards!

I hope you like this project! Thanks for stopping by, and check back again tomorrow for another card! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Perfectly Plaid Chill Collection

Hi there! I hope that you all have a nice weekend! We enjoyed some family time at a local fall festival and also enjoyed a corn maze with our youth group!

Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is sharing projects that feature the Perfectly Plaid Chill Collection! I have two projects to share with you today. The first project is this gift tag set that features the Tag, You're It dies and the Beary Happy Holidays set. These tags are quick and easy to create, but are so cute to add to gifts!

I also created this name banner for a friend who recently had a little boy!

This banner features the Stitched Party Banners, Louie's ABCs die, and the Plane and Simple stamp set. I really like how the name stands out against the patterned paper when it's cut from black cardstock!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Hillside Backdrop

Hello again! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Stitched Hillside Backdrop dies!

These dies are awesome because they make scene building so easy! For my card, I used the portrait hillside, along with the Stitched Mountain Border, Everyday Sentiment Banner dies, Sealed With a Kiss set, and Watercolor Wishes paper.

To create the water, I masked off the second hillside and ink blended Broken China distress oxide ink over top of the die cut. You could also use the Stitched Hillside die and die cut the bottom hillside from patterned paper! I also really like the cute house and trees that are included in this backdrop set!

Thanks so much for stopping by! There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, and I'll be back again tomorrow with some other fun projects! Have a great day! :)

Sunny Studio Guest Designer

*This is my second post of the day. To view my Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week post, continue scrolling or click here. :)

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be a guest designer for the Sunny Studio blog! They have some adorable sets that are perfect for Christmas, and I was so excited to be able to play with a few of their products!

These cards feature images from the Christmas Home, Christmas Chapel, and Festive Greetings. The houses and chapel are so cute, and I really like the little details, like the Christmas tree in the window! The trees, snowman, and lamppost are perfect to help create cute, winter scenes!

To create these cards, I die cut a panel from white cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die. Then, I used blue inks to create an ink blended sky, and I left the bottom part white for the snow. The sentiments are heat embossed with gold embossing power. I think those big, scripty sentiments are my favorite!

I finished by attaching the images, which are colored with Copic markers, and adding clear stickles to the snow on the trees, house, and chapel. I really like how these cards turned out!

Thank you so much, Mendi, for allowing me to be a guest designer for Sunny Studios! Check out the their blog for lots of inspiration from their amazing design team! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Winter Otter

Hi there! I hope that you had a great week! Today, my husband and I are taking our church youth group to an annual corn maze in our area! We go every year and it's one of our favorite events with the youth! Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend?

The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues, and I'm sharing Christmas tags that feature the Winter Otter set.

I die cut the tags from white cardstock with the Stitched Circle Tags. Then, I ink blended the tags with Broken China distress oxide ink and spritzed it with water. The otters are colored with Copic markers, and I added glossy accents to the candy canes to give them some shine! I finished the tags by stamping the sentiments in black ink, attaching the otters with foam tape, and tying twine to the tags. Here's a close up on the tags:

Thanks for much for stopping by! Have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Ornaments

Hi there! It's the start of the October Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Yay!

Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the Stitched Ornament dies. I used the dies to great Christmas tags. For the first set of Christmas tags, I used different shades of blue and purple ink to create a galaxy sky ornaments. They look so neat in person! I also heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing power onto black cardstock and attached the sentiments with foam tape.

I also created another set of tags by creating a watercolored background. These tags would also be cute on patterned paper!

The design team has some awesome projects on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check them! Thanks for stopping by and I'll have more projects to share tomorrow! :)
