Glory to God in the Highest with Neat and Tangled

Hi everyone! Can you believe that Christmas is just two days away?! Where did the year go!?

I have a card to share with you today that features the Angel Wings set from Neat and Tangled!

I thought it would be fun to create a bunch of angels in the sky praising God! For the background, I used Distress Oxide inks to create an ink blended background, spritzed it with a little bit of water, and then splattered some white ink to give it some extra detail. Then, I stamped, colored, and die cut a bunch of angels! I arranged them on the background once it was dry, and adhered them with glue. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto black cardstock and die cut with the Everyday Sentiment Banner from Lawn Fawn. I really like how this card turned out and it was fairly easy since the angels don't require much coloring!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Merry Christmas! :)

Christmas Tags with Neat and Tangled

Hi everyone! I have a fun set of Christmas tags to share with you today featuring a few sets from Neat and Tangled!

I am also entering these tags in the Neat and Tangled Throwdown Challenge. The challenge is to create a gift wrap ensemble to use with your gifts! Perfect timing with Christmas coming up!

I created quite a few tags with different Christmas sets. I really like that Neat and Tangled has products that are perfect to share the true meaning of Christmas, but are still so cute!

For this set of tags, I used the Tag, You're It die from Lawn Fawn to cut tags from Bristol Smooth cardstock. The background is ink blended with Distress Oxide inks and spritzed with water to add some extra detail. Then, I stamped the image from the Angel Wings set, colored them with Copic markers, cut out, and attached with foam tape. Then, I stamped the sentiment in black ink.

The next set of tags feature the Stitched Circle Tags dies and Little Baby Jesus stamp set. The tags are also ink blended. When the tags were dried, I used the Misti to stamp the sentiment. I placed the baby Jesus on the tag, stamped the sentiment, then removed the baby Jesus and stamped again so that the sentiment could continue on the tag. Once the sentiment was stamped, I used foam tape to attach the baby Jesus on the tag. This one might be favorite tag!

The next tag features a colorful inked background with the wise men from the Nativity Play set! I also used the Bannertastic set from Lawn Fawn to highlight the sentiment. And of course, I had to color three wise men. :)

The last set of tags feature the Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus from the Nativity Play set. The images are all colored with Copic markers and attached with foam tape. To finish the tags, I added some sparkly Lawn Trimmings at the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend! Which tag is your favorite from this set of Christmas tags?

LF Inspiration Week: Polka Heart Backdrop

Hi there! Today, the Lawn Fawn design team is featuring the new Polka Heart Backdrop!

I paired the new heart background with the new Let's Toast set to create a fun trio of cards!

To create the background for these cards, I used the Polka Heart Backdrop to create a stencil with a piece of acetate! The acetate works great because it's sturdy and it can be used multiple times! I started by ink blending the background in either Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick, or Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. Then, I used the mask that I created to ink blend the hearts on top of the backgrounds in either Mustard Seed, Broken China, or Abandoned Coral oxide inks. It creates such a cute background and it gives you another way to use the backdrop die!

I stamped the sentiments onto Narwhal cardstock and die cut them with the Speech Bubbles dies. The images are all stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I also added a piece of Woodgrain cardstock along the bottom to give the images something to sit on.

I finished the cards by adding a Stitched Scalloped Circle Frame around the scene. Here's a close up on one of the cards to show you the inked background that I created:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed all of the inspiration this week. All of the new products are available tomorrow, Thursday, December 13th at the Lawn Fawn store! I can't wait to see what you create!

Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Candy Hearts

Good morning everyone! Are you enjoying the new products from the Lawn Fawn release week? Today we are sharing projects that feature the new Candy Hearts die set!

These hearts are so cute and are perfect for Valentine's Day! For the hearts, I used Sunflower, Ballet Slipper, and Peacock cardstock. Then, I added Guava cardstock behind the hearts to make it look like red on the candy hearts. I arranged the hearts onto a white card base and trimmed the edges that were sticking over the edge of the card.

To create the sentiment, I used the Scripty Sweet die cut from Raspberry cardstock. I cut the "sweet" three times and glued them together to create a thicker die cut. I also white heat embossed the "you're so" sentiment onto black cardstock with the Riley's ABCs stamp set and trimmed it into a rectangle. Then, to help the sentiment stand out against the heart background, I wrapped a strip of vellum near the top before gluing the sentiment in place.

Check out more inspiration from the Lawn Fawn design team on the LF blog! Thanks so much for visiting and I'll be back again tomorrow for more inspiration! :)

Lawn Fawn Release Week continues today with a look at the new Tiny Gift Box Raccoon Add-On and Tiny Gift Box Fox Add-On. They look so cute on the Tiny Gift Box!

For the raccoon I used the Narwhal and Storm Cloud cardstock, and for the fox I used Vanilla Malt and Canned Pumpkin. I also used Ballet Slipper for the ears and cheeks, Black Licorice for the eyes and noses, and Raspberry cardstock for the hearts. And did you see the tails on the back of the box? How cute is that?!

LF Inspiration Week: I Love You(calyptus)

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Release Week continues today with a look at another new stamp set, I Love You(calyptus)!

How cute is that koala?! I ended up making two cards for today because I couldn't decide which one I like better!

For this first card, I used the Leafy Tree Backdrop die to create a tree along the right side for the koala. I stamped, colored the koala with Copic markers, and die cut it with the coordinating dies. I created the scene for the card by using Mermaid, Cilantro, Paper Bag, and Noble Fir cardstocks for the sky, tree, and grass.

I used the Bannertastic banners and Riley's ABCs to create a custom sentiment. The pun is perfect for the koala, haha! I added a few hearts that are also included in the koala set, and finished by adding a few drops of Nuvo drops in the tree and sky.

For my second card, I decided to mirror stamp the koala so that I could have two koalas facing each other! I created the scene with Lawn Fawn cardstock and also the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders, Simple Grassy Hillsides, and the Birch Tree dies.

I stamped, colored, and die cut a bunch of the little branches included in the set and tucked them behind the trees. I added the koalas with foam tape and glued on the hearts and flower. Then, I added a white heat embossed sentiment with foam tape, and finished the scene by adding a frame cut from the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed the cards! Have a great weekend! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Let's Toast and Let's Toast Pull Tab Add-On

Hi everyone! The Lawn Fawn Release Week begins today, yay! This week, the design team is featuring the new Valentine's Day products that will be available on Thursday, December 13th. We can't wait to show you all of the new products!

Today, we are sharing projects that feature the new Let's Toast stamp set and Let's Toast Pull Add-On die.

The Let's Toast set features this adorable toaster, a piece of toast, avacado, pop tart, lots of cute smiley faces, and tons of great puns! It also goes great with the Pull Tab Add-On die which makes the toaster interactive! The die is great because it hides the interactive slit behind the toaster and it makes it look like the toast or pop tart magically pops up! And the die is really neat because it can work with other sets as well! I can't wait to use the pull tab die to make critters pop up from behind the grass, or have a sun pop up from behind a cloud. There are so many ways to use that die!

For this card, I also used the birthday hats from Wild For You and the sentiment from the Chit Chat set. The sentiment is stamped in some new ink colors that will also be available next Thursday!

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! And there's a giveaway on the LF blog, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend! :)

Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month

Hi everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend! I'm excited to share a few projects with you today that feature the December Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders! Here's a look at the items included in this month's kit:

The kit includes so many fun items! I really like how there is a variety of items that you can use including cardstock, patterned paper, a stamp set, die set, stickers, and quite a few different embellishments.

For my first card, I used the stamp set to create a fun and colorful card!

I started by stamping the three jars onto white cardstock. Then, I created a mask for the jar by stamping the jar onto a piece of scrap paper and cutting out the inside of the jar. I lightly taped the mask to the jars and stamped the different stars inside the jars. I used my Copic markers to color the stars and lids. For the jar in the middle, I stamped the sentiment in black ink and the snowflakes in Mermaid ink from Lawn Fawn. I also added a few enamel dots and a twine bow, which are also included in the card kit!

I trimmed a piece of patterned paper and attached it to a card base, and then attached the jars with foam tape. Here's a close up on the jars.

For my next card, I created a clean and simple card with the metal dies, glitter stickers and stamp set!

I started by attaching a piece of patterned paper to a white A2 sized card base. Then, I cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base. I arranged the gold glitter stickers to the middle of the card and also stamped the "holiday" part of the stamp set above the joy letters. I used the metal dies to cut the flower and branches from Raspberry and Noble Fir cardstock from Lawn Fawn. The  branches are attached with glue and the flower is attached with a foam tape. I finished the card by adding a twine bow along the top. The glitter stickers are so pretty!

This last card features the metal dies that are included in the set! How cute is that polar bear!?

I created a long top fold card from a piece of white cardstock. The background is created by ink blending Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks and spritzing it with water. I also cut the snowflakes from Peacock and Mermaid cardstock and attached them with glue to the background. I used another piece of white cardstock to cut a hillside and attached that to the card base.

The trees are cut from Noble Fir, Cilantro, and Paper Bag cardstock, and the sentiment is cut from Black Licorice cardstock. The polar bear is cut from the cardstock that is included in the kit. It's so cute that the die adds details to the polar's fur! Here's another look at the card:

I hope this has given you some inspiration for the cards that you can create with this kit! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with their kit. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great week! :)
