Lawn Fawn Release!

 Happy Lawn Fawn release day! Did you order anything from the new release? I have a fun card to share that uses the free gift that is available with a $60+ purchase at the Lawn Fawn store.

This All The Hats set is so much fun and is perfect to use with critters on birthday cards. The hats were all so cute that I decided to use them to create a fun background for a birthday card!

I die cut a piece of white cardstock and stamped rows of birthday hats. With a ton of Copic markers, I colored the hats in rainbow colors. I layered the hats with a piece of All The Dots patterned paper and attached them to a white card base.

To help tie in the yellow patterned paper, I white heat embossed the sentiment onto Sunflower cardstock and finished by tying a yellow twine bow along the top. This design would be fun to recreate with different sentiment and background colors!

LF Inspiration Week: Paint Splatter Background Stencil

Hi everyone! Today, I have a card to share that uses the new Paint Splatter Background Stencil from Lawn Fawn! 

For this card, I started by ink blending the paint splatters onto white cardstock with distress oxide inks. After ink blending the colored background, I used the stencil to add a layer of Fairy Dust stencil paste.

Once the background dried, I added a sentiment from the Just Add Glitter stamp set. To finish, I added a few sequins around the card to add some extra pizazz.

LF Inspiration Week: Simply Celebrate Critters

 Hey heyyyy! If you like cute critters, then you're going to like the sneak peek today for Lawn Fawn! Today, the design team is sharing projects that use the new Simply Celebrate Critters.

The line of dogs were begging me to add them to a stone wall! I used fog cardstock and the brick stencil to create the wall, and then added a grassy border along the bottom. I needed something in the grass, so I added a few flowers from the Gleeful Gardens stamp set.

There is also a new sentiment set that goes perfectly with these critters, called Simply Celebrate Critters Add-On. I added a few of those sentiments into the speech bubbles, as well as a few sentiments from the Critter Chatter: Pets stamp set.

This is such a cute stamp set, especially those little mice. I can't wait to see what things you have your critters say!

LF Inspiration Week: Zesty Lemon Dies And All the Dots Paper

 Hi there! The Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues with a look at a new die and patterned paper collection.

The first card I have to share uses the new Zesty Lemon dies. These are so cute and perfect for summer!

I started with a piece of ballet slipper cardstock cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die and lightly ink blended with pink ink around the edges. Then, I die cut a bunch of lemons from Sticky Note cardstock and ink blended along the edges and middle with Sunflower ink. I added leaves around the lemons and added white accents with a gel pen.

For the sentiment, I used sparkle cardstock cut with Finley's ABCs for the "zest" and I combined stamps from Plane and Simple for the "you're simply the" part of the sentiment.

I have a second card to share that uses the new All The Dots paper. You guessed it - the paper has all the dots! 

I wanted to create a fun background with the patterned paper, so I cut the paper into stripes and glued them to a white card base.

Since the background is busy, I wanted a big, bold sentiment to stand out against the business. So, I used the new Giant Hooray sentiment, cut from black cardstock and Pixie Dust sparkle cardstock. I finished the card by adding a few clear sequins around the sentiment, too.
