The Lord is Come with Hello Bluebird

Hi friends! I hope you all had a great week. I purchased this adorable stamp set from Hello Bluebird a while ago, but I didn't get a chance to create anything for Christmas, so I'm getting a head start on on Christmas cards for later this year!

I started by stamping the angel and halo from the Glad Tidings stamp set onto white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers, and die cutting with the coordinating die. Next, I started working on the background. I used the Cloudy Stencil from Lawn Fawn to ink blend the cloudy background. Once the background was done, I added a white frame by die cutting a piece of white cardstock with the Leafy Tree Backdrop die and cutting out the tree. I like that it has a clean, white frame. Using foam tape, I attached the angel to the card and then stamped the sentiment and music notes around the angel.

I really like the Bible verses included in the set and this design would be easy to mass produce.

He Counts the Stars with Mighty Hands

Happy New Year! I hope that you all had a great holiday season with your families. To kick off the new year, I have a card to share featuring the Bright Star stamp set from Mighty Hands!

I really like the sentiment that is included in the set, so I started by white heat embossing the sentiment onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. I used different colors of distress oxide inks to ink blend the night sky. I also splattered some white paint onto the background to add some extra stars.

Next, I started working on the grass. I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Simple Grassy Hillsides die and ink blended it with distress oxide inks. I attached it to the bottom of the sky panel with double sided tape.

Then, I stamped the children, bunny, and stars onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, fussy cut the images, and attached them with foam tape. It's so cute that the kids are looking up to the sky!
