LF Inspiration Week: Germ Free Bear

It's almost time for the Lawn Fawn release! Everything will be available tonight at midnight! Yay!

The Germ Free Bear set was a freebie for Black Friday last year, but it's back again. My card today features a bunch of bears going to a birthday party!

I stamped and colored a variety of bears and gave each of them a hat and present from the Scootin' By stamp set. The back was created by ink blending a plaid background with the new Plaid Stencils and Mermaid cardstock. The plaid looks so pretty on colored cardstock!

I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Den Sweet Den onto black cardstock. The rest of the sentiment uses the Scripty Birthday die with holographic paper - that paper is so fun!

I'm always trying to figure out which colors to use for critters, so I created a little cheat sheet to show the Copic colors that I used for each bear. I hope that this is helpful!

LF Inspiration Week: I Love You (calyptus) Flip-Flop

 Hello everyone! There are a few more products to share with you for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week. My card showcases the I Love You (calyptus) Flip-Flop stamp and die set.

To create this card, I started by creating a mini slimline card, which measures 6" x 3.5". I used the Slimline Cloud Stencils to ink blend a light background on the card base. Then, I die cut a few tree branches with the Birch Trees die and woodgrain cardstocks. I attached the trees along the sides of the background with liquid glue, and then I tucked a few of branches on the trees and added a koala bear on each side. 

The sentiment is created with Finley's ABCs die cut from black cardstock and arranged in the middle. I glued three layers of die cuts together to get the sentiment some extra dimension. The rest of the sentiment is stamped in black ink and is from I Love You (calyptus) Flip-Flop and Let's Go Nuts stamp sets. I finished by adding a few pink hearts around the sentiment cut with the Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag die.

The punny sentiment makes me chuckle and I can't wait to send it to a friend!

LF Inspiration Week: Giant Sending Big Hugs

I have a second card to share with you today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! This is my new favorite sentiment die - the Giant Sending Big Hugs die! I have two cards to share today and the first one has a big, bold, gold sentiment.

I started by creating a white card base and attached a piece of blue texture dot cardstock with double sided tape. I stamped the flowers from Fab Flowers with pink, green, and yellow inks. For the middles of the pink flowers, I stamped them with embossing ink, covered it with gold embossing powder, and heat set the powder. It adds a fun detail to the flowers. I arranged the flowers along the bottom of the card and attached them with liquid glue. 

Then, I used the new big hugs die to die cut the sentiment form metallic gold cardstock. It looks so pretty cut in the gold. I also die cut two more layers for the sentiment from white cardstock and glued them behind the gold layer. Here's a closer look at the card:

My second card features a big, glittery sentiment!

I started by creating the background. I die cut a piece of Mermaid cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. Then, I used the Plaid Stencils to ink blend the background with Mermaid and Peacock ink. 

I attached the background to a white card base with double sided tape. The sentiment is cut from the sparkle cardstock - it's so pretty in person! I die cut two more layers of the sentiment from white cardstock and glued the three layers together. I attached the sentiment to the card and then finished the card by adding a few pink hearts around the sentiment from the Hearts & Stars Skinny Tag die.

Such a fun sentiment die and there are so many looks that you can get with this die. I can't wait to see what everyone creates!
