LF Release Day!

 Happy Lawn Fawn release day! The new release is now available at the Lawn Fawn store. Which are your favorite products from the new release?

I have one last card to share this week that features the new Say What Holiday Critters, which is a free gift with a $60+ purchase!

This card also uses the new Stitched Snowflake Backdrop. How pretty is that backdrop die?! I used distress oxide inks to ink blend over the stitched snowflakes. Then, I attached the critters and speech bubbles with foam tape. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto Mermaid cardstock, die cut with the Fancy Wavy Banners. Finally. I added a white frame with the Stitched Rectangle Frames and glued on a few sequins.

LF Inspiration Week: Fall Leaves Background Stencils and Stencil Paste

 Hi everyone! I have another card to share with you all today for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! This card features the new Fall Leaves Background Stencils and some fun, new products - stencil paste!

I started by die cutting a piece of Fog cardstock with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies. Then, I used the fall leaves stencils to ink blend the background with  shades of red, orange, and yellow inks. After ink blending the background, I went over the background again with the stencils and stencil paste. The first layer I used the Fairy Dust paste and the second layer used the Pearl paste. They're both so pretty and I though it would be fun to have a mix of pastes on the card!

After the background fully dried, I attached the panel to a white card base and started working on the sentiment. I used the Scripty Autumn Sentiments to white heat emboss the sentiment onto black cardstock. The "grateful" has a coordinating die and for the rest of the sentiment, I used my paper trimmer to cut the sentiment. This card turned out so pretty! It's hard to capture the shimmer and sparkle, but hopefully you can see some of that in these pictures.

LF Inspiration Week: Lovely Latte

Hi friends! The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the new Lovely Latte die set.

This die is fun because it also creates the outline for the coffee mug! I started by die cutting the solid mug and the outline mug with white cardstock. I glued the white outline to the solid piece and then started working on the inlay pieces.

I used patterned paper from the Sweater Weather Remix collection and shimmer cardstock for the coffee and cheeks. Once all of the mug pieces were die cut, I glued them to the white solid piece.

The background was created with the texture dot cardstock and die cut with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. I attached the mug to the middle of the card with foam tape and added a few sparkle hearts around the mug.

The sentiment is created with Finley's ABCs die cut in black cardstock. I like to offset the letters a little bit to make it look fun and so that I don't have to make sure everything is lined up perfectly, haha! The "thanks" is from the Scripty Autumn Sentiments set.

LF Inspiration Week: Giant Thank You

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and that your week is off to a good start! :)

The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues with a look at the new Giant Thank You die. It's giant, it's a die, and it says thank you! It's perfect to use on quick and easy thank you cards.

For these cards, I die cut the thank you sentiment from two pieces of cardstock - a light and dark color for each card. I glued the lighter color onto the darker one to give the sentiment a shadow effect. It helps to make it pop against the background! The "so very much" sentiment is from the Thanks Thanks Thanks set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

The background on this card was fun to create! I used a piece of colored cardstock and a piece of patterned cardstock and die cut each of them with the new Peppermint Stripes Backdrop. I could have just used the die cut panel over the patterned paper, but I wanted the background to have an inlay look instead. After each panel was die cut, I put a piece of low tack tape on the back - this helped to keep the little pieces together and in order. With the tape still on the back, I removed the solid colored stripes and inlaid the patterned paper stripes. Then I used double sided tape to attach the panel to a white card base. I added the sentiments with foam tape and finished with a few black sequins.

I didn't include them in the photos, but there are enough pieces to get a second card from each color. The other cards have a patterned paper border with solid stripe.
