LF Inspiration Week: Special Delivery

 Hello friends! It's been a busy time here, but I'm excited to be back with cards for the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! The design team will be sharing products from the new release which will be available at the Lawn Fawn online store on Thursday, December 10th!

We're taking a look at the new stamp set, Special Delivery. This set features a cute owl and bird that work perfectly with the Waving Pull Tab Starter Set. How fun is it that the wings can move up and down?! And I just love that little mailman hat and bag!

To create this card, I started by die cutting the background patterned paper from the Into the Woods Remix collection with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die. Next, I used the Waving Pull Tab die to cut the slot along the top, the slots for the owl wings, and the pull tab behind the patterned paper. Next, I stamped and colored the images for the card. I also used images from the Special Delivery Box Add-On set to add the boxes and hearts. I like that the add-on set includes a die that cuts the top of the box so that you can slide items into the box! So cute!

I assembled the owl and it's moveable wings before adhering the background to the card base with foam tape. I arranged the hearts, boxes, and envelopes on the card and attached them with foam tape and glue. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock and die cut it with an Everyday Sentiment Banner.
